Angry liberals have taken to social media to declare that if you like the movie American Sniper over the movie Selma, you are a racist.
The comments have come on the heels of an extremely successful opening weekend for American Sniper, which has received favorable reviews from critics, and has gained considerable buzz for its tense trailer. Selma, which also has received favorable reviews from critics, but also criticism for inaccurately portraying major characters, is not doing nearly as well at the box office.
Liberals on social media have decided that the trailer, controversy, and merit are not why American Sniper is doing better than Selma. Instead, it is a manifestation of a racist nation and racist movie goers.

Liberals have already complained that Selma is inaccurate because it doesn’t show LBJ as a crusader for civil rights.
LBJ could care less about civil rights, but he wanted black votes.
Headshotting brown people? Most look like they have a Hollywood spray on tan.
Selma Hayek is a hottie!
One tweeter thinks that not showering awards on Selma is racist. Which group of people thinks that a movie should automatically be nominated for awards simply because it is about a person of a certain race, rather than the merits of the film?
Those would be racists.
Another tweeter says, if you watch a certain movie, he questions your values. Well, if a movie choice reflects the values of the viewer, and the majority of Americans chose to see a certain movie, then would that not mean that particular movie reflects “American values”?
They’re the real racists (as usual) for suggesting people flock to see a movie based purely on skin color rather than watch anything else.

“The proper response to being called a racist is, ‘So what?’”
Or, “What’s your point?”
"Black lives matter" really means "kill white people".
