Angry liberals have taken to social media to declare that if you like the movie American Sniper over the movie Selma, you are a racist.
The comments have come on the heels of an extremely successful opening weekend for American Sniper, which has received favorable reviews from critics, and has gained considerable buzz for its tense trailer. Selma, which also has received favorable reviews from critics, but also criticism for inaccurately portraying major characters, is not doing nearly as well at the box office.
Liberals on social media have decided that the trailer, controversy, and merit are not why American Sniper is doing better than Selma. Instead, it is a manifestation of a racist nation and racist movie goers.

Then you’re racist. Everything white people think, do, or say is racist. There’s nothing whites can do, NO amount of groveling, that will ever absolve them of this.
We might as well just laugh or tell them we don’t care when they accuse us of being racist. They’re going to call us that, anyway, so let’s show them what racism really is! After all, groveling and pleading and giving in hasn’t worked.
Geesh, they got 24/7 airtime in Ferguson last year and a good start this year. So now we are supposed to pay for something we can watch for free on the news.
Didnt have time to see it on Friday but for sure will see it this coming Friday. Also want to see Unbroken I saw his story on Greta’s show what an amazing man..Selma, eh, could give a rats behind about seeing a movie like that

I saw Unbroken. It was pretty good. I liked it but not love it. I do recommend it though.
Let’s see, white people being reluctant to be in a movie theater where there’s likely to be lots of blacks in the audience, in these days. Why EVER would white folks not want to be there?
Unbroken is one of my favorite movies. Where else does the gun misfire at the climax of the movie when the two protagonists finally meet? Brilliant, IMHO.
Some people on this forum hated Unbroken.
I thought it had a significant flaw, but I don’t think it made it as terrible as some made it out to be.
The significant flaw was that it paid only lip service to what I thought was the most compelling and powerful part of the story: His return from the brink of self-destruction by finding God, and his journey to forgive his captors.
I thought they could have taken 15 min from his raft experience, and 15 min from his POW experience, and have used that to tell that part of the story.
But still, a pretty good portrayal of his experience up to that point.
Unbroken comes out on Bluray on March 24th so either I will see it in the theater or just wait for the dvd to come out and will buy it

Whatever happened to the tolerance and diversity traits these people used to claim they had? They are anything but. But instead of being tolerant of others' opinions, they go overboard and attack those that they don't agree with in the most vile and despicable ways. Disgusting human beings.

Before I retired (School District, Maintenance Supervisor) I was called a RACIST by a black (female) union rep during a disciplinary hearing for one of my really lowlife employees. He was a white guy and a real piece of sh#t who tried to call himself a carpenter (NOT).
I used the term “you people” meaning the union pukes, and she jumped on it and started calling me an “Old White Racist”, my response to her was “OK; this whole hearing has been taped for use by upper management for the termination hearing of this employee, now you can either retract that statement and apologize to me now, or I will personally sue not only you as an individual but also your organization (CSEA) for defamation of character, slander, and putting my job on the line as an incompetent, racist supervisor.
I got the apology and fired the sh#t stain so called carpenter, and that union rep never dealt with me again.
When white people just stop being afraid and stop taking it, it has a tendency to stop.
Let’s just cut to the chase: you are a racist if you are white.
