In a dispute over whether Ferguson police officers should wear name tags, spouses of officers say they fear for their families’ safety should their names be revealed.
Regardless, the Department of Justice is pushing hard to make name tags required, despite reports of violent threats from protesters.
According to the wife of one police officer, protesters have screamed profanity at her husband and specifically threatened to rape and murder her and her family should they ever find out the officer’s name.
She said that protesters have told her husband, “we`re going to go to your house. We`re going to rape your wives then we`re going to kill them and we`re going to kill your children,” all while Department of Justice agents looked on.

The DoJ agents probably wrote the script for them.
If the reaction of that black cop the other day, who really ticked off the protesters by snickering at their baiting is any indication, the cops may not polarize. And the cops sure as hell won’t align with the rioters.
The only way. and I mean the ONLY way these uncivilized rats would get to my family is by crawling over my dead body and my hot empty gun(s).

I fully support making every Ferguson cop wear a name tag.
But since by a strange coincidence they all happen to be named “Officer Eric Holder” how do you tell them apart?
They said they may be forced to wear name tags. Didn’t say real names had to be on there. A whole department of Officer Smith’s might be a good idea.
There is little difference in equipment or skills between deer hunting and sniping.

Now that we live in KY, my wife and I are planning a weekend trip to/through that area.
