In a dispute over whether Ferguson police officers should wear name tags, spouses of officers say they fear for their families’ safety should their names be revealed.
Regardless, the Department of Justice is pushing hard to make name tags required, despite reports of violent threats from protesters.
According to the wife of one police officer, protesters have screamed profanity at her husband and specifically threatened to rape and murder her and her family should they ever find out the officer’s name.
She said that protesters have told her husband, “we`re going to go to your house. We`re going to rape your wives then we`re going to kill them and we`re going to kill your children,” all while Department of Justice agents looked on.

The town of Ferguson is being systematically destroyed. I cannot imagine any police officer who is white wanting to stay there. The town could well end up bankrupt and having white flight because of the race baiters. It will soon be nothing more than a hellhole of crime, unemployment, and drugs.
That is what will stop it. If you listen to the news, it is not the wives and children that are being raped and murdered along with being robbed. It is our, the ordinary Citizen's wives and children. If the police either can't or won't stop it , then it is up to us. That is if the lives of your wife and children mean anything to you.
