The National School Boards Association reported Monday that 83.7 percent of school districts around the country have seen an increase in wasted school lunch food since a 2010 law was passed mandating new nutrition rules. The Healthy Hunger-Free Kids Act was aimed at creating healthier school lunches, but...
This has it all wrong. This is change we can believe in!
Look, this was Obama's 2009 inaugural...
Now, 5 years later, we have NO TRASH LEFT BEHIND! I'm tellin' ya...This. Is. A. Win!
I hope they have a slop food customers network that take the wasted food and feed it to livestock, swine and zoo animals.
Or would that be considered cruelty to animals?
Why isn’t it to our kids?
As a public school teacher, I can verify that school lunches do not resemble food and smell even worse. Hell, it’s child abuse to give kids what I see every day. A lot of it is unidentifiable!! I ask the kids what it is and THEY have no idea - most of it goes straight into the trash - including 90% of white milk. The FedGov said we can no longer serve strawberry or chocolate milk which the kids drank, so now we only have white milk which the kids WON’T drink so they get no milk (most drink soda all day every day, at school and at home, they bring it in since vending machines with soda were banned).
Even my dogs won’t eat school food - and I have a a large, slobbery “garbage pail” retriever that eats anything, whether it’s edible or not. Last week there was some kind of meatball, the dog’s favorite meal. He sniffed at it and turned up his nose - made me wonder what the hell was in it.
I wouldn’t put school food in my compost pile!!
"Hey! Get this crap out of here."
Latest WH photo op of Michelle Obama visiting a middle school.
I think they still serve chocolate milk at the local schools here
Anyone else getting SICK OF THESE CLOWNS??
In other "Breaking News", hog farmers, nationwide, rejoice in the vast increase in "Free" feed for their operations...
