Nearly six in ten black Americans (59 percent) believe that there would already be a cure for the deadly Ebola virus had it originated in Europe or America.
A YouGov/Economist poll also found that 62 percent of Americans think "more would have been done" to combat Ebola had it not originated in West Africa. Forty-two percent of Americans also believe there would be a cure had the virus originated in Europe or the U.S. while 23 percent do not think that would be the case....

Majority of blacks will believe any racist proposition, because the majority of blacks are racist.
It sounds like Africa has some work to do, and since the blacks polled were Americans, I hope they were bragging, and not complaining.
They feel blacks are too ingnorant to find the cure.
I guess African scientists need to step up and find a cure then.

Such as they believe everyone else is racist because they themselves are racists.
One problem...Americans normally don’t have sex with monkeys or bats, so the chances of Ebola or AIDS originating in the USA a would be very rare.

A lot of Europeans died during the black death, back when the civilization was as backward as Africa is. When was that, maybe 700 years ago?

People can talk all they want about racism, but there are some genes that enable black athletes to succeed above white ones and some genes that enable white people to survive disease and maybe even invent cures for disease. But somehow most folks do not get it all in one package.

It’s not reasonable to expect that we spend all our resources chasing down a cure for a rare African disease instead of what ails Americans. Get real.

PS back during Katrina I was banned (Time Out) for far far less ... maybe just because I was the Melanin Challenged individual in my family . When it happened to me my kids laughed at me cause I got to turn the phrase back on them ... "It's because I'm White!" I have 3 kids ... all over educated and very successful, I worry about them because of there genetic background they look like they could be from the Middle East... these days that is not a good thing.

IOW, the majority of blacks think white scientists are more intelligent than black scientists. As if black African scientits haven’t had plenty of opportunity to stop Ebola long before this. Geez, sorry about that Ebola thing but no one has cured the common cold either.

sheesh. we need to get back to white presidents. i am so sick of the race card being played for everything.
And 99% of us whities know that if the Ebola was coming from a white western nation that country would be quarantined already!
