The collapse of XP support by Microsoft has led to a proliferation of disruptive internet advertising. These "SmarterPower" thugs are wrecking my FR access.
Is this a plot? How do does one keep these ani off one's computer? They "pop-up" at every keystroke. And they have sound!
Who needs this? Why pay an ISP or a cable company if they are selling us to every internet advertiser.
Of course, the main issue is security and KGB-like surveillance by the Alinskyites.
WTF are these people?
I prefer Windows 7 over 8 any day. Messed ith 8 for awhile but hated the navigation format.

I have none of these issues running FR on IE. That box is Windows 8 (in grumpy developer mode), and run ESET NOD-32 in the background.
Thanks; think I tried, but it was complicated and just as well my repairman managed to get my comp. straightened out.
Usually this happens when I download ‘free’ software from online etc.
Thanks for the tip.
I changed from XP to windows 7 works good.

Check their websites, as some of them work with other browsers besides Firefox/Palemoon.
You’re infected with viruses.
When I recently bought a new computer my son who is a CIS graduate set it up for me with windows 7. Sometime later while on the internet a popup came on to "update" my flash drive. I saw this and figured sure I'll do that.
BIG Mistake!! Along with the update (if it really happened) came all THIS CRAP that Kenny Bunk is dealing with. I showed this to my son. Even he was surprised at all of the junk that was happening pulled out his I phone and looked for the fix. It took him 10 or 15 minutes to clean this crap off then ran a virus scan and found a couple on my hard drive which he fixed.
RE: Palemoon
I read some suggestions about the change over from Firefox to Palemoon. One said that most of the FF extensions will work with the 32-bit version of FF.
I had previously tried the 64-bit Palemoon and had problem with FF extensions. I have been running the 32-bit Palemoon on my laptop and have had minimal problems with extensions/add-ons.

will eliminate your malware
Then click on the wrench, and reset your browser settings & tcp ip settings.
concur on Firefox/ad block/mallwarebutes
Run a good malware tool, don’t happy click, use a browser with adblocking, and upgrade to a modern OS (which will dramatically assist the first and 3rd parts).
The answer to your problem is mrublaster @ https://www.brightfort.com/mrublaster.html. A tiny program that gets all the hanger cookies..
