If The GOP Loses the Senate—Blame the Establishment By Laura Ingraham September 19, 2014

Now the concerned whispers are becoming audible groans. Turns out after premature high-fiving in certain Republican circles, the GOP just may be on the verge of blowing its opportunity to take control of the U.S. Senate in November. A few of us have been warning for months that unless the GOP responded smartly to the huge public outcry over the border surge, it would miss a chance to energize disaffected voters. We also urged our friends in the establishment that they shouldn’t take their primary victories against more-conservative candidates as a sign that they could “play it safe” during the campaign.

The public wants policies to strengthen the American workforce, raise its standard of living, and renew and protect the homeland. It wants to see an affirmative agenda to spur growth and economic opportunity—one that goes beyond “dump Obamacare.” But the voters are enduring uninspiring candidates, boring political ads, and wishy-washy campaign statements on immigration enforcement. One of the only Senate campaigns playing the immigration issue correctly is that of moderate Scott Brown in New Hampshire. And guess what? After trailing Jean Shaheen for months, he is now in a dead-heat race with the pro-amnesty Democrat incumbent. Go figure.

Then there’s the issue of money. Writing in Thursday’s Wall Street Journal, establishment fave Karl Rove says the GOP Senate majority is “still in doubt,” noting that the GOP Senate candidates are being outspent $109 million to $85 million in media buys. He urges Republicans to “open their wallets to candidates whom they have never met.” Here’s what I say to this entreaty:

If Repubs control the Senate, House and the White House after the 2016 elections, the elites will happily whip up wars to further new world order’s agenda, with tremendous support from the “conservative base”.

The continuing step-by-step establishment of new world order’s police state in America would also have the support of conservatives.

If Dems win the White House in 2016, some of the conservative base will question the rise of the police state and whipping up wars for America, just as a few do now.

Now Boner is saying the unemployed should get off their butts and go to work. I guess that means he believes Obama has turned the economy around.

Seriously, what it really means is he will do all he can to keep the senate in the hands of the democrats. The GopE does not want to win.

Repubs win, then they’ll politically be able to proceed with overt GWB style wars.

Dems win, they’ll have to continue with covert wars.

Afghanistan STILL produces 90% of the world’s heroin, which was the chief point of that “war”.

New world order wanted to move its heroin production to Afghanistan.

The GOP didn’t just burn bridges with the Thad Cochran primary, they took off to the moonbat satellite and nuked them from orbit.
Then they turn around and beg the very same conservatives they labeled racists and extremists for support.
Screw them.
You don’t win elections by urinating on your base.

It was the establishment’s fault we didn’t take back the White House. Why should this election be any different? As long as people roll over and vote for the liberals the GOPe vomits up, nothing will change.

I don’t feel the need to vote for Corker(GOPeTN). Its not like he’s blocking Obama judges or voting Conservatively.

The "ESTABLISHMENT REPUBLICANS" will NOT get the message unless THAD COCKROACH LOSES!

It is VITAL that Thad is removed, or the RINOs will do it again, and they may do it again, anyway.

What they aren’t telling you is that they would rather lose to the Democrats rather than the Tea party.

The Tea party might actually reform things, cut their mad money crazy spending a touch. And the powerful doesn’t want that stopped at all costs. They have a great deal invested in the status quo, and they will keep going until they gut the country.

The republicans on top are just as invested in funneling and spending your money as democrats are. And illegal immigration is all part of it.

If the GOP loses the Senate? Did I miss something? I thought the Donkeys under Harry Reid had the Senate. The GOP Establishment has been waging war on their base and it now occurs to them they've screwed their voters so badly they won't vote for the feckless GOP incumbents and they won't help or give money. Gee, how bloody stupid are you people?

Your brilliant strategists ran Romney against Obama in 2012 and mittens was so hateful towards conservatives in the GOP that 4 million stayed home and cost him the election. Now the same brilliant strategists are doing it again for the midterm elections in 2014. Republicans and GOP Establishment ARE the Stupid Party.

“GOP Establishment ARE the Stupid Party.”..

You could have saved a lot of words by just stating the obvious.

...

I disagree. The GOPe is malevolent, not stupid.

They don’t care if they lose to the Dems, because they know the Dems will implement the Big Government they want. As others have said, they’d rather lose to Dems than the Tea Party. What we are seeing is a return to the same GOP we had between Hoover and Reagan.

“You don’t win elections by urinating on your base.”

Obama pissed on the blacks, the jews, gays, unions, women and illegals.

And they will still vote for the rats,

“To piss off a conservative, tell him a lie. To piss off a liberal, tell him the truth.”

what they aren't telling you is that they would rather lose to the dems rather than the Tea Party

The problem is that the back stabbing RINOs think that we don't know that. It's gotten so bad that when it was McCain vs Obama, Obama is the lesser of two evils. I'm not sure I want insane McCain to be part of a majority as long as people still include him in their decision making.

It's that McDaniel situation that went too far. The establishment could still turn that around, either by Cocharan withdrawing or having the courts they obviously control giving the nomination to McDaniel.

But the current crop of RINO backstabbing anti-Americans in the US Senate as a majority? The country is going down anyway. It might as well be the dems who have to figure out a way out of the mess. I want a constitutional conservative pro-US party in charge. I don't want the current Republican leadership in charge of ANYTHING!

end of rant

It wants to see an affirmative agenda to spur growth and economic opportunity—one that goes beyond “dump Obamacare.”

Ironically, dumping obamneycare is NOT on the GOPe's agenda. The only plank the GOPe is pushing is to provide the Chamber of Commies more cheap labor from overseas.

The bottom line is this: If the GOP loses the Senate, it’s all due to establishment incompetence.

(((
Not entirely, Laura. We conservatives are also sick of their lies, their corruption, and their disdain for the Constitution and for Judeo-Christian values.
