The PLO (founded in 1964) and Hamas (founded in 1987) both seek to unravel the decisions made at San Remo in 1920
The cease fire agreement ending hostilities in the Fifty Day War between Israel and Hamas marks yet another milestone attesting to the failure of Jews and Arabs to peacefully resolve their claims to sovereignty and self-determination in the territory once called Palestine.
Amazingly - the continuing inability of the parties - and the international communityto reach consensus on identifying when this long running conflict actually commencedensures it will continue to remain unresolved.
Emeritus Professor Richard Falkformerly United Nations Special Rapporteur on Palestinian human rights in the West Bankstill claims in his latest article that the conflict started in 1947.

It’s kinda funny. You look at these people’s problems, look at their fixation on the past, and then listen to ANY motivational speaker regarding how a successful person views the past - and their problem becomes crystal clear.
The first step to getting out of any bad situation and moving on to a successful future is to spend just enough time contemplating the past to learn from it, and then move on to the future.
As long as these people are looking to their past for the answers to their current problems, they are doomed to failure.

The "Palestinians" want what Israel built. They didn't want the land until Israel improved it.
US Congress 1939 records foreign Arab immigration into 'vacant land' of Palestine
The following is a remarkable speech given in 1939 by John William McCormack (1891 - 1980) of Massachusetts, Representative to the House, on a 'Jewish Homeland' in Palestine. Protesting harshly the British (White Papers) restriction on Jewish immigration while Arab immigration is allowed to flow. Citing the great approval by 5 presidents and an array of high officials all praising the great achievement done by the Jews in Palestine, uplifting and up-building the land. He notices the Arab immigration of at least 150,000 (equal to that of the Jews') from neighboring countries as well as an overall rise in Arab population (such as, an over 50% rise during 17 Years 1920-1937), all due to Jews' work in the "vacant land" of Palestine, that all of a sudden made it all attractive.

We stop reading anything just as soon as it refers to the land of Israel as “Palestine”. Time wasted reading this one: 0.0000000001 second.

My great grandfather purchased land in British Palestine . He was age 60 in 1925 living in the Midwest purchased land from the American Zionist commonwealth land group. The land is now known as Afula Israel. My family still has ties to this land. I have complete paperwork and records going back to 1925. Jews purchased the land at that time as it was their Zionist Dream. He never made it there and passed away in 1947.
Jews worked hard to purchase and assemble land in the 1920,30’’s 40’s to establish the Jewish state of Israel.

A good article on American Zion commonwealth http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Zion_Commonwealth The American Zion Commonwealth (Hebrew: קהילת ציון אמריקאית) was a Zionist settlement corporation that played an important part in the Jewish settlement of Palestine before the establishment of the State of Israel. The American Zion Commonwealth company was founded in the United States in 1914 by American Zionists with the purpose of acquiring lands for Jewish settlement in the Land of Israel. During World War I, the company's activities were suspended, but with the conquest of the land by the British and the establishment of the British Mandate, the company returned to full operation. It was most active in the 1920s. The company acquired land in the heart of the western Jezreel Valley on which it established Moshav Balfouria in 1922. The town was named after the English Lord Arthur James Balfour, writer of the Balfour Declaration, which embraced Zionist plans for a Jewish "national home" in Palestine. In 1924, the company purchased the lands of the village of Afula from an absentee landowner residing in Beirut. In 1925, the city of Afula was established on these lands. Already before the city's founding, the company purchased lands on which a "Children's Village" was founded, which today lies within Afula's boundaries. Its inhabitants were all young, and in World War II the village served as a training camp for the guards and as a glider club. With the establishment of the state, the village became a military base, which was used by the Israeli army until the 1990s. In western Jezreel, the company purchased the lands of the village of Jida, on which Ramat Ishai was established in 1925. In the Zebulun Valley, the company purchased the lands of the Arab village "Kofrita" as an agent for a Warsaw religious foundation named "Avodat Israel." This organization founded Kfar Ata in 1925, which eventually came to be called Kiryat Ata. The jewel in the crown of the group's activities was the acquisition of a barren piece of land north of Tel Aviv on which the city of Herzliya was founded in 1925. The city was named after Theodor Herzl, the founder of modern Zionism, and is today one of the largest cities in Israel. The company sold the lands it purchased to Jews in the United States and Poland. Many of the Polish buyers realized their acquisitions and settled the lands they bought, but others died in the Holocaust and their land remained unclaimed. With the wave of immigration from the former USSR came descendants of these buyers who staked their claim to the land. American Jews who bought land from the company considered it as something between a charitable contribution and an investment for the Messianic age. Many of their descendants are fulfilling the investment today. The company was unique among similar organizations in that it transferred full ownership rights to its buyers - as opposed to the Jewish National Fund which granted leasing rights only. As the years passed, the company became less active and its management was transferred to the government. In 1983, the company was dispersed. Land purchasers and their descendants who did not receive ownership of the lands by that year became creditors of the company. Since many of these buyers were considered missing, their litigation rights were transferred to the public trust. With this, the important role the company played in the history of the Zionist settlement came to an end. In the two largest cities founded by the company, Afula and Herzliya, there are streets bearing the name קהילת ציון (Zion Commonwealth) in commemoration of its achievements.

Huh? It attests to the practice by media shills for jihad to equate Israeli self-defense with the continuing campaign of genocide by Arabs and muzzies.

Correct. Where is Jerusalem mentioned in the Koran? It’s not mentioned at all. Israel is the birthplace of religion for Jews and Christians.

Actually the land ‘south of Syria’ has been referred to by the name of Palestine since around the 2nd century.
The issue is there’s no such thing as a Palestinian.
