Gov. Nixon Calls For ‘Vigorous Prosecution’ Of Darren Wilson
The Daily Caller ^ | 8-20-2014 | Chuck Ross

Not content with a regular prosecution or a vigorous investigation, Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon said he hopes that Ferguson, Missouri, police officer Darren Wilson will receive a “vigorous prosecution” in the shooting death of Michael Brown on Aug. 9.

“A vigorous prosecution must now be pursued,” Nixon said in a five minute video address posted to his website Tuesday.

“The democratically elected St. Louis county prosecutor and the attorney general of the United States each have a job to do,” said Nixon, a Democrat.

“Their obligation to achieve justice in the shooting death of Michael Brown must be carried out thoroughly, promptly, and correctly,” said Nixon of investigators.

Sure does look like a Volvo, although I don’t recall seeing a V-6 emblem on them.

Jaguar sedans had the same rear end look. Too hard to tell for me without seeing tail lights.

Nixon should be prosecuted for prejudicing this case before a thorough investigation.

Not only is he unworthy to be governor, he shouldn’t even be employed as a toilet attendant at the YMCA.

UNBELIEVABLE. Right up there with B. Hussein’s comment of “the police acted stupidly.”

Every LEO in Ferguson should walk away. The governor has just put a target on them.

Officer Wilson life isn't worth 2 cents now.

He is being thrown to the mob like a piece of red meat to a pack of rabid, diseased dogs.

What is one innocent white guy worth to a man like Nixon compared to the black votes a spineless politician can win over by pandering to the black mob?

Excuse me? Didn’t Johnson lie to harm Darren Wilson, when he said Brown was running away and was shot in the back??

Autopsy says all shots from the front.

As for the D.A. cutting a deal with Johnson to lie for Wilson’s benefit, as you predict Sharpton et al will say, for a reduced sentence, I don’t get that.

If a D.A. is involved, it will be in order to prosecute Darren Wilson. The D.A. is a prosecutor.

Do you want to reconsider what you wrote?

I’m having trouble understanding it.

Well he has the persecution thing down now.

Personally I think Nixon can be publicly forced to walk his statement back and apologize which will cause him greater problems. When he was saying it yesterday, a Nixon staffer was explaining to Shep Smith that he really meant “Investigated”.

GUILTY before proven innocent!

American justice, 2014 = Mob rule, backed up by the Government Democrat.

There, fixed it.

Now we get Holder coming in to pick up where Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton failed.

I pray for Officer Wilson as his only crime is being white.

Governor Nixon is a demagogue and making sure that the officer never receives a fair trial. The potential juror pool is more than tainted. Any juror knows that (should there be a trial)that a vote to acquit would be a vote to end any normal life for themselves, as well). Nixon should be removed from office for his remarks.

Yeah, let's get this into to court and the first thing we'll hear is that the defense ought not be allowed to "smear" the victim, er perp.

I think a trial would be devastating the the "beginnings of a new civil rights movement". Mike 'the gentle giant' Brown is no Emmett Till.

Look at last to letters visible behind the gut on the left. It looks like “VO”. Therefore? VOLVO.

So much for Missouri being the “show me” state.

The investigation isn’t even close to conclusion, and Nixon has already convicted the cop. No wonder so many good men and women don’t want to be cops in this country. You face death threats and prosecution for doing your job.
