Don’t be so quick to laugh. If a populous state like California can elect him twice (and the rest of the country can elect Obama twice, for that matter) nothing is too far outside the realm of the bizarre. The fix is in in the the big cities which are heavily populated with liberals and completely corrupt.

There is a certain nostalgia about Moonbeam. I lived in California at the time he was governor and Reagan was president.
Thanks to what Reagan did nationally, it appeared like Moonbeam didn't do such a bad job with California . . . especially compared to the governors they've had since.

When he was running for Prez in the 90’s, I would sometimes call his campaign “800” number. “Jerry Brown for President” they would answer. I would reply “Jerry Brown for President? HA HA HA HA HA HA HA . . .” and laugh until the person would hang up. This was before the internet was widely available, and nothing good was on TV ;)

He’d be a thousand times better than Hillary or Elizabeth Warren. If he were twenty years younger he would be the runaway favorite. One of the rare cases where a Democrat isn’t quite as bad as his reputation - usually it’s the other way around.
