That corrupt officer in the Pentagon who steered business to Boeing regardless of the bid hurt Lockheed’s military sales I suppose, and Boeing started a black projects group mimicking the Skunk Works (even the name), but I’m sure there’s always stuff going on that we don’t hear about until 40 years has gone by.
