They’re adults. They had to be told this? It wasn’t part of their upbringing? I know that most EPA workers are urban liberals, but were they raised in barns?
Management for Region 8 in Denver, Colo., wrote an email earlier this year to all staff in the area pleading with them to stop inappropriate bathroom behavior, including defecating in the hallway.
In the email, obtained by Government Executive, Deputy Regional Administrator Howard Cantor mentioned “several incidents” in the building, including clogging the toilets with paper towels and “an individual placing feces in the hallway” outside the restroom.
Confounded by what to make of this occurrence, EPA management “consulted” with workplace violence “national expert” John Nicoletti, who said that hallway feces is in fact a health and safety risk. He added the behavior was “very dangerous” and the individuals responsible would “probably escalate” their actions.
EPA management had to get a second opinion…on whether defecating in the hallways is a problem. They couldn’t figure this out without enlisting a consultant. Who confirmed, yep, pooping in the hallways is a problem.

Why they had to enlist a consultant, however, I don't know. Unless, of course, the Obama adminstration is investigating another form of deviance to turn into a protected class. At the rate we're going, I'd not be surprise if hallway pooping turns out to be the next crusade of the U.S. State Department, and John Kerry will be giving demonstrations in embassies around the world.

I am not surprised by this behavior as the EPA has been crapping all over America for the last 20 years...
“placing” - could mean that the poop was pooped elsewhere and moved afterward...sounds like they need to commission a study to find out, and then have an investigation to determine who and when, and oh by the way, better give grants to some university professors to research this...it’s the EPA way.
