Join Amazon Prime. About a hundred bucks for an entire year, free shipping on most of your purchases, and, I’m guessing, every film of the Duke streamed free direct to your TV.

Apologies. I forgot to format the list of movies and I don’t see a way to edit the original post.

Yes, TCM is a fine channel. I check the schedule every day.

Trouble Along the Way a favorite for me, but not for Wayne, Charles Coburn or Donna Reed. Sherry Jackson as Wayne's young, wisecracking daughter steals the movie. Big Jim McLain has the Duke and James Arness ferreting out commies in Hawaii. Who plays (Barry H's father) Frank Marshall Davis in this movie?

No The Searchers? Fort Apache? I could go on but it seems like a lot of his best is missing.

I suspect the reason TCM “crammed” the Wayne movies in such an unusual manner was due to the deaths of Shirley Temple Black and Mickey Rooney. Not completely sure on that but I watch TCM on a daily basis...some weeks anyway. I don’t recall ever seeing them program their star of the month this way....oh and the TCM Festival landed this month too

I watched The Quiet Man for the first time in decades the other day.
I forgot how stunning Maureen O’Hara was in the day.
