Stunning a crowded convention, NJ Chris Christie announced to a group of supporters with former President Clinton that he would seek reelection in 2014 as a democrat. The move comes after months of odd behavior from the former NJ republican.
Tensions have been mounting between the NJ Governor and the GOP. At this year’s CPAC Convention, which hosts some of the greatest names in the conservative party Christie was denied entrance. Christie struck a sour note with conservatives for palling up with Obama during Hurricane Sandy. The bill to send money to victims was full of pork and republicans wanted to make sure that the money was only going to the victims, not special interests. Christie attacked them for it.

Maybe he'd get some positive press if he declared himself a gay muslim.
If Hillary drops out, I wouldn’t put it past him.
Satire or not, why would he have to switch? His left leaning career is just like the rest of the GOP.
Even if it were satire, nothing in American politics surprises me.
Satire works best when it is very close to reality.
I wonder if any news organizations will pick this up and go with it.

So if this is true...they're gonna run Christie...and hoping for a lot of Repub voters to cross over to win.
