Don't Get Punked by Paramount's Pagan Noah Film

"...After viewing Darren Aronofsky's Noah, I am astounded by the number of Christian Pastors who joined in the promoting of of this propaganda piece – but that is for my follow up column.

Paramount says the Noah Movie was "inspired by the story of Noah" but it appears more likely it was inspired by the story of Al Gore’s protégé Ted Kaczynski. Paramount would have been more accurate if they had made a movie about the Uni-Bomber because this Noah had more in common with Ted then the Biblical Noah and Russell Crowe’s rendition would have required very little tweaking. The film was full of absurdities like..." (continued)

> Took a date to see the movie tonight. Had it not been a second date i would have walked out. Where they came up with some of the 90% of the movie was beyond me. Pure crap if you ask me. Date didn’t care for it either.

I think its our duty as Christians to point out whenever a biblical story is told incorrectly, been altered to benefit evil, or told out of context to suit a political purpose or just outright evil because it is a lie at that point. Its time to expose the evildoers that are posing as Christians for profit and fooling the masses who have no discernment to know the difference. We need to pushback and redouble our efforts to save even more people whenever they do this until evil gets the message.

Great movie. Saw it this morning. Be sure to read what most evangelicals ignore “This movie was INSPIRED by the biblical account of Noah”. Absolutely great special effects and Russell Crowe and Jennifer Connelly should be nominated for academy awards.

If you read the article it very clearly states the director of the movie was ATHIEST. Hmmm now why on earth would a biblical be made by an athiest?

For some reason I’m still amazed when people watch a movie “inspired” by an event and expect it to be an accurate depiction.

Maybe because is an extremely LAME cop out. If you want to create fiction, create fiction, but it is so un original to buy the rights to an established work, (I know, Bible stories are free) or even worse and more egregious, a true life event and then tell lies under the guise of the word "inspired". It is sleazy and lame and deserves to fail.

‘Be sure to read what most evangelicals ignore...’

Maybe they were swayed by the heavily advertised claim that the movie is true to scripture and takes no liberties?

The movie is a very faithful adaptation. Of course the movie takes ‘artistic license’ with the story of Noah, but you have to realize the biblical story of Noah is so short that if you stuck to it 100% you’d have maybe 15 minutes of movie, with massive plotholes. Aronofsky creates a beautiful Biblical adaptation and absolutely stays true to the spirit of the story. I hope more people realize this and form their own opinions, rather than parroting opinions from hateful people who haven’t even seen the movie. Also, God, i.e, “The Creator”, is mentioned all the time, so I have no idea where that criticism came from. Go see it. You’ll like it.

Then why make a movie of it at all?

I hope more people realize this and form their own opinions, rather than parroting opinions from hateful people who haven’t even seen the movie.

I'm forming opinions based on people who have seen it. I'll probably watch it when it's on Netflix for a good laugh, but I'll certainly not spend money at the theater for it.

Also, God, i.e, “The Creator”, is mentioned all the time, so I have no idea where that criticism came from.

Why not call Him "God" then? Perhaps it's not a good idea to let an atheist direct a "biblical" movie?

Go see it. You’ll like it.

Of course. To get a dialogue going, right?

The director of the movie was raised Orthodox Jew. Jews never use the word God.

"What seems to have caused you to excerpt your new blog?"

He can't answer you. He's busy trying to repair his "Selfie-Cam."

Either that, or he's busy searching everywhere for his last name.

“...rather than parroting opinions from hateful people who haven’t even seen the movie.”

It isn’t a question of ‘parroting’, long experience with the people who today gravitate to movie/documentary production leaves me expecting the usual garbage. Maybe I miss a jewel here and there but it’s worth it to avoid being tweaked yet again by jackasses.

Almost all of the filmed story of Noah would be ‘filling out’ the sketch in the bible but the hate and rage that animates the hearts of liberal propagandists is soft and subtle and made for the task. It would be nice if they put up the Noah story in a way that does not attack Belief but I doubt the fundamental decency and heart of the industry.

There is nothing liberal about the movie. If there was it would have never been made.
