I suspect LTC Bateman is not a combat arms standout. Probably branched Transportation or Ordinance though I’m sure he’s lingered in the greater DC area long enough to receive Master’s in “Touchyfuzzybunnyism” from some lib university.
Also, as he’s been “stationed in the D.C. area, he’s likely been in the pentagon basement and received his frontal lobotomy.
..and I don’t see him getting within 500 m to pry cold dead anything.
