More than a dozen armed police raided an animal shelter after air surveillance documented that the facility was providing care for an abandoned fawn named Giggles in Kenosha, WI as reported by Colleen Henry for WISN: ""it was like a SWAT team,' shelter employee Ray Schulze said." Apparently, it's against state law to rescue wildlife. The fawn was taken away in a body bag, and will be killed.
Meanwhile, the Mexican drug cartels have taken over vast swaths of public land throughout Wisconsin, and grow operations worth $70 million have been uprooted from the state's forests over the last four years as reported by WITI.
Surely law enforcement has better things to do than target Giggles.
Drug cartels shoot back, fawns don’t.
Let’s see them release the name of the shooter after the foul deed is done.
Good deeds will be Punished with the full strength of the law!!!!
Bad deeds will be ignored on the promise that a group may vote for them...

They probably drove past a half-dozen drug deals on the sidewalks to rush to solve the case of the loved fawn.
As I said before, and angered a few (I don’t care), some people become cops for the adrenaline rush of ‘legally’ SHOOTING a living creature.
Before you get all het up over the DNR coming after this fawn, find out about the operator of this “shelter”. She has a history of dognapping pure bred dogs out of their own back yards, neutering them, and selling them to other people. I don’t know how she got a license to operate an animal shelter.
We had to kill the fawn to save it.

OTOH, the pervasive, violent and arrogant police-state and surveilance-state is an outrage to any patriotic American.
There is no common sense anymore.....it’s one reason i’m not a people person.
Aw heck, all one has to do is to read “The Yearling” to know that damn fawn is going to destroy the crops when it grows up. BTW, is there a special term for fawn veal?

Absolutely disgusting. What, it was a slow day at the DNR office? If the fawn was going to be relocated the next day, why didn’t they just wait until proof of the transfer had been made and then gone back to their troglodyte caves? That Niedmayer female supervisor looked like a man in a wig. Reminded me of Big Sis, both in her preferences and competence.
A dozen well armed police, squad cars and air surveillance? Perhaps they should have tried a phone call.
Obviously if you can replace a drone and a dozen cops with a phone, their budget needs severely trimming. No wonder we are so broke.
There is no one here that goes by the name of “moder_ator.” And an actual mod said it’s fruitless to ping anyone by that name a few weeks ago.
It is a lot easier to get a hunting license than go to cop school, so I do not see your premise as logical.
