I don’t know where Palin would be, but I think it would be great for her to get back into elective office. If she ran in Alaska, I think she’d win (I thought it was a mistake for her to quit the governorship) and I think actually being politically responsible would call out the best in her.
Right now she’s standing on the sidelines sniping, but she can do better than that.
