News to me, did Sarah suggest she wants to run for the Senate?
Actually, her name was only floated for the Senate race because a brand new Tea Party group floated her name so it could raise money.
The operation is run by a guy who operates another Tea Party group. He paid for a small poll of only 300 Republicans, then publicized it.
The group’s financial director said that the Palin promotion was so successful that it gained 60,000 names in the first couple of weeks.
All in all, the organization now probably has 100,000 people on the list and is on its way to raising its first $1 million in record time.
