As we have previously noted, there need not be Obama fingerprints on anything- all that was needed was the "unofficial nod."
Kimberly Strassel of the WSJ put a timeline together and it makes very obvious what happened.
It's not opaque. Barack Obama called conservative organizations a "threat to our democracy." He made it clear that they are a threat to national security. This is a broad and concerted plot. An American President vilified and trampled the Constitutional rights of a large segment of the American population- those who disagreed with him.
Combine this with Obama's campaign manager calling Mitt Romney a murderer, felon, liar and tax cheat and a sordid picture comes into focus. It's the politics of personal destruction on a gigantic scale.
It's McCarthyism on steroids.
It really doesn't get any clearer than that. Obama painted the targets on conservatives and the henchmen in his agencies went to work.

A paper trail would make it more clear. Nixon's downfall was the secret WH typing system. Short of something like that, Obama may well be safe.
I read something interesting yesterday (wish I could remember exactly where). There is no paper trail linking Hitler to the Nazi atrocities. None. No record of him ordering the terrible things that went on in his regime. He just made it clear what he wanted and his henchmen improvised.

Most divisive President in history.... but it may be too late, the takers believe that without him they will have to get jobs and survive on their own and really they don’t care that the IRS goes after anyone because certainly the IRS won’t be going after them when they don’t earn anything....

He will not be impeached. Our best bet is to push as far as we can the elimination of the IRS AS WE KNOW IT. That means a flat/fair tax. Short of an economic debacle in this country, nothing will likely happen to Obama. Now if the economy seriously falters (e.g., we fall back into a nasty rececession) then he’s got a real problem on his hands. The sad truth is that very few people really understand or care about these scandals, but most do care about their personal comfort and well being. This is one reason why the goverment’s economic propaganda is so massaged. They have to keep the illusion of prosperity alive or the masses will get restless.

No one mentions the snitch program set up on the WH website. Journalist need to review its targets and agenda! Flag@wh. Before it was moved offsite!
Even then I think Obama will be safe. He'd blame the recession on uncooperative House Republicans, and people would believe it.

I agree with you. I cannot see any circumstance under which this would happen. However...if things spiral out of control politically and economically, I can see him finding an excuse to exit office before his term expires.
Obama is a cunning liar, manipulator, and a blamer. That’s who he is and all he knows. He will never be an executive, manager or problem solver. He would rather leave office than accept responsibility for chaos IMHO.

This isn’t even close to a smokign gun (although it woudl have been plenty for the democrats to oust a repobulican IF a republican had done hte same crap dear leader is doing)- Dear leader can simpyl claim that he can not be held accoutnaqble for what someoen ‘misinterpreted his comments’ to mean (This is provided he even admits to havign made hte comments- usually these peopel deny the comments, or claim they were taken out of context, or that they simply ‘;mispoke’)
Look- He’s black, He’s a liberal, He hates America, and the main stream media loves him and will protect hi mat all costs- What you’ve laid out is nowhere near close enough to a smoking gun needed to dethrone his royal hininess

Very good recall there! I had forgotten about that.
The problem with lefties is that they are deeply self-righteous and therefore believe that the ends justify the means. I’ve known and worked around plenty of them and can assure you that they play to win, and will happily employ any tactic that advances their ideological goals. Powerful tools in the hands of people like this is a scarey thought.
The Chicago influence adds another toxic ingredient altogether.
