The Mayan Calendar does not have an ending

...but the time_t apocalypse is a reality in 2038. I'll be long dead by then so I'm not real worried about any of my applications going back to The Epoch on 32-bit platforms. :-)

This is just one more thing to get a panic started. If “Planet X” were that close; we would have already been seeing it with the naked eye a decade ago. Our calendar ends Dec. 31 every year; the Mayans just hadn’t got a new calendar produced. Besides, I’m not too thrilled about the Mayans. - The planets aren’t slated to align; that’s just an untruth. - Now, we may have more hurricanes and earthquakes. - Trust in the Lord. Go to bed and go to sleep in peace.
