The Most Bizzare Performance in Vice Presidential History: Ryan Wins
http://www.TableOfWisdom.com ^ | 10/11/2012 | Scott Ryan

Posted on 10/11/2012 7:46:40 PM PDT by publius321

31 minutes into the debate and one thing is clear - Joe Biden’s behavior will appeal to the obnoxious who are already in his corner – but any decent person watching the circus environment of his creation - will recognize the absolutely sophomoric behavior for what it is.

Biden had his first strike against himself when he walked out on the stage with his face pulled so tight you could bounce a quarter off of it. At first I asked my wife what Barbara Walters was doing on the stage.

Biden’s non-stop, fake laughter was bizarre and painful to watch. He is a caricature of a used car salesman. I say caricature because it really is unfair to compare these hard working people to this buffoon.

EVERY SINGLE TIME that Paul Ryan began to make a cogent point, the shrill shill on the stage posing as a moderator interrupted “gentlemen, we have to move on”. Biden was enabled to give uninterrupted filibusters when he was asked a question. Biden was uninterrupted because he was on the stage with an actual gentleman. I cannot recall one time that Paul Ryan was allowed to make a single uninterrupted point when directly asked a question by the shill. It began to look obvious that there was collusion between her and the Obama administration. We know that is the Chicago way and we know that the Obama press colludes as we have heard first hand on recorded conversations between poseurs from competing news agencies.

If this were the founding era, I highly doubt that Joe Biden would ever made it to the station of US Senator. Biden would have likely been dead or in prison as a result of the many duals in which he would have no doubt participated given his indefatigable pomposity. This man would not last a day among gentlemen in an era where assaults against integrity were settled on the field of honor.

To advise this individual against such juvenile behavior would be to cast a pearl before swine. It is clear Joe Biden is not -nor has he ever been- a genteel man. In the end, this was a clear victory for Paul Ryan because he maintained his composure, he was earnest and despite Biden being twice his age – Ryan was clearly the only serious adult on the stage.

Biden certainly fancies himself a thespian and he has NAILED the personality of one fictional movie character who immediately came to mind 5 minutes into the circus. Watch and you will know who Biden was studying in preparation for this debate:

Now please parson me as I feel I must take a shower after subjecting myself to the grotesque performance to which we were all subjected.

The technical psychiatric term for that type of behavior is...acting like a shmuck.

It was a trial run, Obama will smirk, laugh and make an even bigger asshole of himself, just to keep Romney off base in the public perception.

Biden's performance reminded me of this.

That Biden got away with labeling slogans as "facts" proves that he does kick emotional butt.

Arguing logically against emotion is unsatisfactory to south of Market.

“His laughter was at inappropriate times - mental illness...does he drink?”

No.

"projection of American power in order to kill our enemies"

The current ROEs suggest otherwise. If that is the objective it would be better to go in and seriously break stuff, then wait a short while to see if the lesson needs to be repeated.

Killing off two generations should result in 40 yrs. of relative quiet.

Biden made faces, shook his head indicating a negative, that know-it-all smile, smirks, rolling his eyes…so likened to Gore’s 2000 debate persona of sighs, frowns, stalking and clearing of throat.

Every debate has a moderator who likes Democrats and hates Republicans.
True.
Maybe someday the GOP will insist on having a moderator who does not hate them.
A consummation devoutly to be wished . . . but I don’t expect to see it. The reason is simple - journalism controls the TV time and the microphones - and journalism wants journalist moderators.

The only way to change the debates would be to pass a law revoking FCC licenses for stations which don’t give time for unmoderated debates, in which microphone time is allocated via a chess timer controlling the microphones. That would require Republican majorities in both houses of Congress and a Republican POTUS - and guts. At least as much guts as Reagan showed in discarding the Fairness Doctrine.

It was bad enough with Biden being so rude and puerile and interrupting all the time, but when the moderator kept interrupting—trying to make Ryan lose his train of thought-—I almost turned off the debate.

Under the enormous disadvantage, Ryan came off looking extremely classy and mature. The other two looked like rude obnoxious OWS types or sodomites attacking the Cathedral in S.F. with condoms.

Two more people prove that there is no morality and character on the left in Alinsky’s world. Degeneracy breeds degeneracy—like the Bible says.

Summary (also having listened to spin from the left, right, and middle)
....
Biden was hugely rude, obnoxious, childlike ... and ultimately said very little.
Ryan was arguably too quiet, but had facts, figures, a plan.
agree, pretty much a Ryan win..O'Biden was a shrill laughing buffoon...

It went almost exactly as I expected. The only ones who could’ve been surprised are the ones who thought this would be a replay of Romney trouncing the putzident. Biden’s been shuckin’ an’ smirkin’ his way thru politics for 35 years; this was just another gig for him. No big deal; his true believing jackoffs got what he always guarantees them, but he didn’t inspire any new votes.

As a general rule every time a liberal moderator or interviewer gives their biased views as part of a question the answer needs to be: “If the American public wanted to hear your opinions they would have voted for you in the primaries.”

I had the picture on, but the sound down (I have a hard time watching these things, know that the moderator is in the tank for the Dims).

Anyway, it seemed that every time I looked over and saw Biden, he had this strange, smirky, ‘aren’t you an idiot’ kind of look on his face. It struck me as so bizarre that I actually watched for awhile to see if it was an aberration, but no.

Do these people (Dims) ever just come in, say what they want to say in good sportsmanship and a gentlemanly manner?

So the question is:

Should one start at the centers and work out or start at the periphery (or both)?
