Palin or West are the only two with even a remote chance of getting me to vote for Mittens in November.

Your suggestion of Ron Paul would appeal to many of the twenty-somethings we know. Our sons are 22 and 24, both working while in college to help out the family. The younger will graduate in Dec. with a Bachelors degree. The older will graduate in Dec. with a Masters degree... They and their friends are very adamant that they WILL NOT VOTE in the general election as they are protesting both candidates! My husband and I have attempted - to no avail, it seems - to convince them they have a duty to vote even if for the lesser of two evils. (Other than my two votes for Ronald Reagan, I have only had that same option myself.)

Newt or Trump because the VP is supposed to be the junkyard attack dog in a presidential campaign. Those two would be pictures staring back at you in a political dictionary defining role of a VP during a campaign.
Though any would do. I prefer Bachman and Ryan to stay in the House and get the budget under control. Bachman for Speaker now that would be delicious!
West could add a interesting “demographic” dynamic, maybe help in Florida. I would like to see him run for higher office in Florida first like Governor or Senator. Cain right now is “too damaged” wrongly damaged but still damaged! The MSM would turn that into all they would talk about, and Axelrod would pay for more bimbo attacks. Cain need to run for higher office in Georgia.
Rubio on the ticket might be enough to deliver Florida, no small contribution, but seems to mild mannered to run for VP.
Palin as much as I would love to see it her time has come and gone. Besides the “independents” which Zero has lost might reconsider and return or stay at home. Also Romney's inroads into the women's vote might reverse. The Palin Derangement Syndrome of these groups (including many women GOP’ers) is inexplicable to me ! It exists and in significant numbers. Pail needs to go back to Alaska and end Lisa M royal Senate career! Then we could talk come back.

Palin I think would be my first choice.
Who will he actually pick? Mcdonnell from Virginia is my first guess. Rubio is my second guess. Third, Martinez.
Who does he really want? I would say he really wants Hillary Clinton, or some other verifiable lefty.

Allen West— conservative, military experience, understands fore cheats in the modern world, has combat experience, from FL—all things Romney
Lacks.
Second choice is Paul Ryan— if you are going to fix the economy, you need to reign in the government— and Ryan knows the most about the budget.

I’ll actually take the bait here.
I’m a Ted Cruz Republican, but I think Petraeus is the best choice.
It would virtually guarantee an obama loss.
Petraeus is probably no conservative...most likely a “pragmatist”. But I suspect he is no Marxist, and he is pro-American. He would be able to stop the bleeding.
It might be too late already. But if the country is to have any hope, obama has to be beaten, and Petraeus would virtually guarantee that, in my opinion.
(The look on the democrats’ faces would also be priceless when the announcement is made....they would know they were history).

Not on anyones radar but a formidable pick for OHIO and PA! She was Lt Gov of Ohio prior to becoming Chief Justice of Ohio Supreme Ct. Educated in PA.
Chief Justice Maureen O'Connor is the 10th Chief Justice in Ohio history and is the first woman to lead the Ohio judicial branch. She first joined the Supreme Court of Ohio as an associate Justice in January 2003. She was re-elected in November 2008 and then as Chief Justice in 2010. Born in the nation's capital, but raised in Strongsville and Parma, Chief Justice O'Connor's career in public service and the law spans three decades and includes service as a private lawyer, magistrate, common pleas court judge, prosecutor, and Supreme Court Justice. She earned her bachelor of arts at Seton Hill College in 1973 before going on to earn her law degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, 1980.
