Poll: Should Herman Cain Drop Out Of The Race?

Should Herman Cain drop out of the race? Or should he stay in the race until the voters tell him to leave? Does he fight? Or does he leave? And if he should leave, why? What do you say?

Don't be so humble. Your opinion matters a great deal. Aren't you a vocal supporter of Rick Perry on this site?

I certainly am a supporter of Rick Perry, as well as a supporter of Michelle Bachmann and until today even Herman Cain. As a matter of fact, until she withdrew from consideration, I supported Sarah Palin for President above all others. I would still be delighted to see a Perry/Palin ticket face off against Obama/Biden next year!

I find myself agreeing with you, yet again. *sigh*

That would be as useless a vote as it would be for Duncan Hunter in 2008. Bachmann is too green and she lacks executive experience in any capacity (Cain has the business experience, even if he lacks the political). I’ve also had a nagging feeling she’s been angling to be Slick Willard’s running mate, and that’s a huge reason why I wouldn’t vote for her. Let her run for Governor of Minnesota first.

Cain should stay in the race and become president. Otherwise Cain should stay in the race because having him around has helped to mute some of the Left’s constant cries of racism against the Right that I’m so sick of hearing. He also has the great ideas about reforming our tax system and other things.

There is no next best alternative.

Of course there is. Otherwise Obama wins by default, is that what you want?

I voted to have him stay and fight.

I was agog at his total denial of an improper relationship with the woman just now on Hannity. If she has any evidence, he lied right in our faces. He would be known for the rrst of his life as a totsl liar. Maybe it wasn’t an affair after all.

He should not be forced from the race by slander and libel.

My opinion therefore is of no consequence but I think Cain should drop out. He is no longer a viable candidate. His supporters need to find the next best alternative.

ANd you're being a die-hard Perry supporter had nothing to do with that, right?

I don't know who is worst, Newt or Perry supporters for a complete lack of class and/or fidelity to conservatism.

Oh please. Save it for the n00bs. I read here every day, and know that you're a Perrywinkle of the highest order. I've never once seen you express enthusiastic support for any candidate other than Perry. At least not since he entered the race.

The billboard sized Perry campaign photo you posted (with your sig in it, no less) rips the facade off your phony pose.

He shouldn’t be forced out this way. No. If the votes aren’t there, then you go. And I wouldn’t go any sooner. However, if his wife just can’t take anymore, then he will get out for her sake.

If Herman Cain drops out, it will be in good part because of the horrible supporters and their lack of class that will in part keep me from voting for either Newt or Perry.

The whole point is seeing him win again. The media and the establishment work overtime to push losers like La Raza Rick, Slick Willard and Newtie so they will be extraordinarily easy to knock down for the general. It’s time we told the media and the establishment they can take their political phonies and shove ‘em straight up their ass. WE need to choose our GOP nominee who is an actual Conservative. Somebody like Herman Cain. If Cain was a phony like those other three buffoons, the media wouldn’t be making up stories against him designed to destroy him. They’re terrified of him, and that’s exactly the person I want. They were just as terrified of Palin.

Well, I guess I don’t have high standards then because I don’t think it’s that big of a deal. What’s really appalling is this person he was trying to help abused him like this. What a skank.
