38% of Texas is Hispanic.
What’s he to do as Governor? Pee on them?:
Get real
Or even a RINO, for those of you not living in the trailer park.
I havent spent a penny in Islamic stores since 911.
That said, I lived quite harmoniously with Lebanese Muslims in Ohio as a child and frequented their shops without fear.
“posting articles (mostly from the left wing media) bashing Palin and agreeing with the lib authors.”
“We haven’t seen that since Pissant was zotted. It saddens me that so many of my fellow Palin supporters are resorting to this tactic because it pissed me off to no end to see it done to Sarah. This is especially weird since Sarah really likes Perry and I trust her very well informed judgement.
Sarah will never bash Perry as many of her supporters are, bank on it.”

How is it bashing to point out his record? Should we just all hold hands around the campfire and sing kumbaya?
Mark my words. You WILL see Palin comparing her record to others. Whether she says nice things about them is beside point. I have heard her say repeatedly that she wants a SPIRITED campaign in which records are debated.
Have you been observing so many moderate campaigns of Bush, Dole, and McCain that you have forgotten what a real campaign based upon ideas is about. Reagan ran such campaigns in 1976 and 1980. He was not bashful about attacking his opponents records. If you think he was, please read Craig Shirley’s excellent books about the 1976 and 1980 campaigns.
For you to compare me and other Palin suppoprters to pissant, who was a vulgar troll with misogynistic beliefs that he expressed is really a canard. You ought to be ashamed of yourself. I expect such from the usual trolls but I have never noticed such tendencies in you.
Cop-out response.
If BC is mistaken, lying or distorting Governor Perry's record and you call him out, it is incumbent on you to prove him wrong, not just flip off anyone that asks you why he is wrong. If you are unable or unwilling to do so, your assertion that BC is all wrong about Rick Perry (and these issues) looks false. Pithy brush-offs may help you feel smug but prove nothing. This is not how you defend a candidate. I'm sure you can do better.
It will happen again on the next thread. The same excuses will be given. We will hear again about the Friend of Jerusalem Award...as if that somehow makes it okay that their own children are being brainwashed in the Texas school system. I wasn’t even going to post this stuff again, but it’s important.

Some things can be explained. Some things can’t. Some things can be excused. Some thing shouldn’t be. This is one of those things that can’t be explained OR excused.
All my Texas relatives (and there are alot of them) are proud conservative Rupublicans. Without exception, they really like Perry.
There seems to be a bit of a disconnect with what I am reading from many respected FReepers. Yes, I’ve read most of the posts and many of the links, both pro and con....and I shall continue to do so.
It’s still early in the game, but right now I’m leaning Perry.

Great Video,Thanks I will pass it around!
Is that what I was trying to do?
Further, I need not explain myself to anyone. Not even you.
I checked the list this morning.
You're not on it.
Go look stuff up.
You aren’t pointing out his record. You are distorting it.
You raise a good point, and one that I have made in many a Perry thread.
If we ignore Perry's past of advocating liberal causes we effectively condone them and I'm not ready, willing or able to do that. You said "He heard us loud and clear." So why should he not hear us on other issues? And yes, I have written his campaign but have yet to receive a single response.
Perry needs to be vetted, all candidates need to be vetted. But the pro-Perry crowd seemingly opposes the vetting process. Anyone who questions his past or alludes to things in it that we don't like is summarily attacked as a 'Palinista' or a 'Romneybot' or, unbelievably, an Obama supporter. I am none of the above, I just see things in Perry's past that tell me I cannot vote for him.
I know there is no perfect candidate. But we should not ignore Perry's record. To do so is tantamount to supporting it, and I think we can do better.
Spot on.
If you want to know anything REAL about Aga Khan, you need to go to islamic websites. Western ones only tell you what they want you to know.
To the people he controls, he is an absolute tyrant. His word is the law and if he says it, it is true. There can be NO free thinking. No questions. You obey, or you pay. His followers think he is divine, the personification of allah on earth.
You have no idea what these people are like out from under the sunlight.
I wonder what the Palinistas will do if Sarah decides to endorse Perry - heads will explode.
Ping!
I don’t know that my post was well thought ought but it’s my truth.
I voted for Perry then as the lesser of two evils, and he surprised me in his third term.
I’m glad you only have one vote.
Aga Khan is Allah?
I helped elect the guy 3 times, and now you have to face him.
Who should I have voted for?
