Mark my words. You WILL see Palin comparing her record to others. Whether she says nice things about them is beside point. I have heard her say repeatedly that she wants a SPIRITED campaign in which records are debated.
Have you been observing so many moderate campaigns of Bush, Dole, and McCain that you have forgotten what a real campaign based upon ideas is about. Reagan ran such campaigns in 1976 and 1980. He was not bashful about attacking his opponents records. If you think he was, please read Craig Shirley’s excellent books about the 1976 and 1980 campaigns.
For you to compare me and other Palin suppoprters to pissant, who was a vulgar troll with misogynistic beliefs that he expressed is really a canard. You ought to be ashamed of yourself. I expect such from the usual trolls but I have never noticed such tendencies in you.
You aren’t pointing out his record. You are distorting it.
I am not comparing you, or others, to Pissant with respect to his vulgar misogynistic posts, but Pissant posted many articles from leftists in order to bash Palin, and these articles were about Palin’s record, often distorted, taken out of context, or not weighed against the rest of her record. The prime example of that were the hit pieces about her quitting which, at face value, seems horrible but in the context of what she was going through, it was the right decision. We should give Perry the same consideration. I used Pissant as an example because he is best known for bashing Palin in this manner.
