Either she will or she won't. All of the arguing in the world on FR will not change the outcome of her decision.

I think we will know by Labor Day.

If anyone thinks the Media will up their attacks on Sarah if she does jump in, just wait for the attacks on her if she doesn't.

Yep because then it will be obvious that she strung people along for money and those that called her an attention whore will have new ammo. Sad, but true.

In case you hadn’t understood, “millions” isn’t a preclusion to running for President. John Kerry, John Edwards, anyone named Bush, Obama himself (thanks to his up-fronts for those worthless books he “wrote”), Hillary Clinton - all millionaires many times over when seeking the White House. When you think her “millions” made is the end game - when it stopped none of these people - is absurd.

I think nothing of the sort. My opinion is she's playing a game. A game that has netted her millions. Why would she put her family through the wringer again when they are set for life?

I think she likes playing 'kingmaker' by using her endorsement powers. She's having fun and, as many Palin supporters on FR have pointed out, she's getting too much enjoyment out of sticking it in the liberals' eyes doing it this way.

As a Palin supporter, just want to make clear that I do not in any way WORSHIP her. I admire, respect her leadership skills, and recognize that our country NEEDS her.

So funny...if you really like someone you immediately become an idol worshiper...I really like my airplane too but hardly worship it...:oP

Where it becomes worship is when you close your mind to all reason.

Where it becomes worship is when, for months, you do nothing but gush and gush and gush about how your particular airplane is the greatest thing since the Wright Brothers.

Where it becomes worship is when you insist that every bad inspection report is not true because of (insert 534 excuses here).

If your aircraft required at least 43 gallons of fuel (Bill Clinton's winning percentage in 1992 with a strong third party candidate) to cross a body of water, would you insist on risking your life and your family's life in your airplane crossing that body of water if it only had 19 gallons of fuel?

If you insist that, yes, you would try to fly over that body of water with only 19 gallons of fuel and risk disaster because your airplane is (insert magical thinking here) .......

..... THEN you would be worshiping that airplane.

The number of people that think that Sarah Palin would be a good President?

19 out of 100.

Are you really willing to bet the life of America on "The Spirit of St. Sarah", crossing that body of water with only 19 gallons of fuel.

If your answer is "Yes" because of (insert magical thinking here), then you are dealing with worship and not dealing with reality.

if Perry decides to run, Palin will decide not to.

I hadn't heard that, but it does seem possible.

My list would be pretty similar to yours, especially the late Daisy before Romney!

There are a couple of people I'd put on my personal list, Allen West and Marco Rubio, but they are new on the scene so there's absolutely no chance of either one of them getting any traction. And who knows if they'd even want to run?

I've never been in the situation of having to make the decision to run for office. It must be a very hard decision to make, unless, of course, you're a power mad lunatic like a certain WH occupant.

“I’ve noticed that it’s turning some people off of her.”

Did you also notice, in reviewing her record, how good Palin is at bringing attention to corruption, and turning in the bad guys?

Did you notice how good she was, as Governor, at managing debt and allowing jobs to be created?

Did you notice how good Palin is, unlike almost all politicians, at keeping her promises?

Did you notice these qualities are what we need in a President in order to address the problems in our nation’s government?

I am sick and tired of being beat over the hard that she has a bunch of people worshiping her..Bull$#@p There is only ONE who is worshiped..case closed!!!

Do you believe that Sarah Palin can fly a route that requires at least 43 gallons worth of fuel with only 19 gallons because she has some sort of special powers?

If you do, then, if not worship, it is, at least, idolatry.

See Post 126.

Tell that to Barack Obama. He isn't a "natural born citizen" either. And yet.......he's our PRESIDENT!

Presidential office requires a natural-born citizen if the child was not born to two U.S. citizen parents. US Law very clearly stipulates: "If only one parent was a U.S. citizen at the time of your birth, that parent must have resided in the United States for at least ten years, at least five of which had to be after the age of 16." Barack Obama's father was not a U.S. citizen and Obama's mother was only 18 when Obama was born, which means though she had been a U.S. citizen for 10 years, the mother fails the test for being so for at least 5 years prior to Barack Obama's birth, but after age 16. In essence, she was not old enough to qualify her son for automatic U.S. citizenship. At most, there were only 2 years elapsed since his mother turned 16 at the time of Barack Obama's birth when she was 18 in Hawaii.

Now see, you are a prime example of what I’m talking about.

I have not criticized Gov. Palin’s leadership abilities or her background.

Yet, you throw these things at me as if I had.

I have said repeatedly that if Gov. Palin were to get the nomination, she would certainly have my vote.

But you don’t see this. You are so blinded by your adoration for your candidate that unless someone is joining you in gushing about her, you see it as criticism.

If Palin(™) does not run then all her teasing, especially her part crashing in NH and Iowa will have been nothing less than shameless self-promotion.

I only asked you if you noticed these qualities demonstrated by an objective review of Palin’s record. Wasn’t accusing you of anything.

I could have been an Obama supporter (albeit an honest one, which might be hard to find) and ask the same question.

So where’s the “gushing” and “adoration?”
