Reagan was great but he didn’t exactly kick Democrats butt. Remember they fooled him into supporting amnesty. You can’t be saying he kicked butt if they tricked him that easily.
Reagan trounced Carter/Mondale in the 80/84 presidential elections. I was thinking more in those terms.
