I don’t think any of you would hold up if you were to debate me on this, or on anything really. Without using sarcasm and ridicule as a way to duck and hide.
Notice my sincerity.

I dont think any of you would hold up if you were to debate me on this Debate what?
That the Palin family are the foremost experts on blow-outs and containment and abatement?
Sure I will. Go for it.

Make your case plainly and concisely. Well, since you called for debate...
I dont think any of you would hold up if you were to debate me on this
It's on you to define the terms.
Begin by explaining why Todd & Sarah Palin are the premier contacts for abatement / containment of Gulf oilspills.
Or did you wish to focus elswhere? You tell me.

The sarcastic comments I was replying to, in post #38, presumably carry an underlying message which can be formulated in a cohesive (though possibly not truly believed) statement, and the most accurate formulation would have to come from the author of the comments. It would have to be done in a way which extracts the core statement from the messiness of the sarcasm and ridicule.
This is my assumption. If I’m wrong, the central message is merely sarcasm in and of itself, in which case there is no argument on your side because the assertion has been reduced to “I like to be sarcastic” and really has nothing to do with any debate about Palin.

So I win the first debate Yes, in Retard Land.
Now, back to reality:
Explain how Todd & Sarah Palin are the premier contacts for abatement / containment of Gulf oilspills.
Any answer will do, haven't you even got an attempt?

I’ll answer it, but you’ve spotlighted a major setback, in the form of your profound feelings of inadequacy, in your refusal to answer my post #55.
Keep in mind that knowledge of the oil industry alone does not confer the highest degree of competence to be such a contact, although Palin does have intimate knowledge of the industry. (Obama has no such knowledge.) A strong sense of morality and the courage to apply it is essential. Again, Palin is an olympic athlete to Obama’s kindergarten hopscotch when it comes to taking a moral stand.
Sarah Palin has served as chief executive of a major oil producing state. In the years leading up to her successful bid for Governor, she was on the Alaska Gas and Oil Regulatory Commission. She took moral stands throughout her service.
Obama has shown, in his flip flopping and blatant lies, that he has a moral compass like a glass of water floating in the middle of the ocean. I mean, if he has even the slightest sense of moral courage, why does he go out of his way to keep it locked away where nobody, anywhere, ever gets even the briefest glimpse of it?
And if Obama has even a tiny hair of knowledge about the oil industry, why is he keeping it such a secret now that he occupies the oval office?

I'd like to hear that myself. If someone suggests that Todd & Sarah Palin are the 'go to' people regarding this recent oil disaster in the Gulf, they ought to be able to back it up with facts, not emotional rhetoric.
The fact is, there are many companies and entities who deal with such disasters, as FReeper ASOC pointed out in their post #24:
Alaska Clean Seas
Crowley Marine
SeaPro
SeaCor Environmental Services
Aqua-Guard
The list goes on - of people who make their living as spill response operators, IOW experts. Not politicians.....
There are already too many politicians involved in this mess, if someone is serious about cleaning things up, they need only contact companies such as those listed above, among others.
Always good to see you Gunner, you are reminding me of that line out of the late Johnny Cash's 'Farmer's Almanac' tune (1991), "lies have to be covered up, truth can run around naked".
Keep telling the truth FRiend. ;)
