..and another thing. I saw that Earth hour was 8:30 PM.
I’m on the East coast. I wonder if Earth hour is 5:30 Pacific? Or if it’s 8:30 AM in China, 1:30 AM in London? If so, aren’t they getting off easy? Doing without lights in daylight and in the early morning hours is not much of a sacrifice.
If the Earth hour is 8:30 PM local time around the world, isn’t then an Earth Day? Oh wait, that name is already taken.
I wonder how may lib yahoos will be lighting up candles?
I think I’ll turn on all the lights and fire up the plasma TV and go flush the toilet a few times.
It’s 8:30 in everybody’s time zone...but as the other thread notes, it’s “Earth Hour” every night in North Korea.
Don’t forget to start the ignition on all your Global Warmers (tm) and leave them idle in the driveway for the duration of this momentous occasion...
“I wonder how may lib yahoos will be lighting up candles?”
Call all the local fire departments the next day for stats.
