I wonder how much press this reaction will get. The press sure liked to talk about those peaceful and orderly Tea Parties though. Comments about someone’s looks are much different than wishing someone dead. I can’t believe you think one even comes close to the other.

Rush is liberals public enemy #1 because he is against what most of them stand for and stands for what they most against.So let them have their day of false joy because they could never handle the truth due to their twisted and sick minds.
Actually, there is a night-and-day difference between us and them. When prominent liberals have faced health crises, the overwhelming majority of posts here on those threads have been supportive and positive and prayerful. Sometimes posts have had to be moderated, but they're a small minority. It's completely unlike DU or Politico or KOS or such. One memorable exception was just too much, and that was when Kennedy died. Even those threads had a good share of positive wishes for the family, but it was unique in that there was a lot of pretty hostile chatter about Teddy. But then again... he murdered an innocent girl and got away with it. It was a lot to hope for that those threads wouldn't devolve, and quickly. But except for that... it should be a source of pride that FR typically does NOT descend into the vulgar outright meanness that liberal sites do.

That is the difference between conservatives and liberals - the ability to (honestly) think. Conservatives think reasonably and honestly. Liberals think perversely and dishonestly. Which is why they always have to resort to ad hominem attacks. Just like being in Jr. High: “I don’t like here cuz...cuz...I don’t like her!”

They said that they are getting back at us for being the exact same way when Kennedy passed away. I wish both sides would show some maturity when either a conservative or liberal dies or is sick. I guess it is too much to ask.

It must have been a very small group of people because he won the election in an incredible landslide, plus even the liberals I spoke with thought Reagan was a nice guy but did not agree with some of his policies.

Good lord you are one shiny penny. :) Actually I guess I am one of those empty-headed scolds because I mentioned about Kennedy and after reading additonal threads found it to be a bit different, but I completely forgot about Tony Snow and Olsen. I would have thought people were too busy that day to comment about Olsen...I guess not.
