Michael Jackson Fans to Rep. Peter King: BEAT IT!
American Spectator ^ | July 7, 2009 | Matthew Vadum

Fans of the late Michael Jackson wanna be startin' somethin'.

They consider the critical remarks of Rep. Peter King (R-New York) about Jackson to be really, really bad.

King's tongue became a razor, in their eyes, and the congressman has to answer right now.

An anonymous fan created an ad hoc group, Michael Jackson Fans AGAINST Peter King, at the liberal fundraising website, ActBlue.com, which describes itself as "the online clearinghouse for Democratic action." Here's the pitch from the site:

Congressman Peter King is at again, this time defaming the late Michael Jackson, calling MJ a "pervert', 'low-life", and a "pedophile". As Rick Sanchez noted on CNN, Michael Jackson was acquitted of the charges against him. Peter King ought to let Jackson rest in peace, and focus on the needs of his constituents. As we mourn the loss of an American legend, political grandstanding is not what we need right now!

It's a black and white issue.

Here's the clip from Congressman King:

Excuse me sir, you’re in my son.

A Wacko if there ever was one. Jackson surely had problems in his brain circuitry. Too many wires became disconnected. Please end the reporting, bury him already I can’t take looking at him any longer I’m at the point where I’m ready to take out the TV screen with a shotgun.

So they shut down the freeway for the funeral procession, unbelievable. The municipalities are spending tons of money to do this, what a joke. Didn’t Farrah Fawcett and Ed McMann die recently also? Our society has devolved so much it is sad.

So what's he being charged with....revealing a state secret?

I do think King has some very good points, and I am amazed at the pop-culture mentality.

Lets face it, some of the libs who will never forgive Limbaugh, for a past addiction to prescription pain killing drugs, WORSHIP Michael Jackson and don't care about his drug problem at all.

In defense of MJ?
He was never convicted of anything, on the child abuse cases and pedophile cases. The witnesses against him were less than credible, to say the least.

Also, when I basically said the same think that Rep. King said, to a friend of mine, I was asked to take into account the fact that Michael Jackson NEVER glamorized the drug culture, gang banging, cop killing or criminal behavior, in any of his music.

Ronald Reagan hosted MJ at the White House, more than once, I recall.

It is tragic that his real life could not have been a wholesome role model for others.

Yes, he was one weird dude, but I am not sure it does us much good, policy wise, to publicly pile on right now.

Give it some time, then ask some of these libs, “What would you think of a Republican Congressman who behaved like Michael Jackson, with drugs and with young boys?”

Yeah, idiots. He paid off a child with 30 MILLION DOLLARS because he was innocent. But I guess that’s like trying to explain what DNA evidence is to the OJ jury. Good luck using simple logic to reach these lunatics.

Looking at Jacko’s fan base, I can understand why he was so warped. If I had the dregs of humanity worshiping me, I’d medicate myself into eternity too.
