She writes of her lie on toilet paper; Evy receives the thin parchments, one ply at a time. . . .

So was there some product placement in this scene?

"My! This SCOTT® Brand Bathroom Tissue is so strong and sturdy, I can write on just one ply!"

The funniest part about the V-masks is that they do not translate well - without the cloak of darkness to provide contrast, they look incredibly stupid. I do hope the DUmmies parade around in them.

One ply at a time... I was actually laughing at this thinking that maybe one time Evy would get a ply of toilet paper covered with caca.

BTW, does anybody think it strange that a prison that starves its inmates and treats them like, well, crap would be so considerate at to provide them toilet paper? If I am imprisoned there I hope they will also be so kind as to allow me access to dental floss.

If I see one available, I might actually get a Guy Fawkes costume to wear for a Halloween party. Instead of Shakespeare, however, I would be reciting DUmb DUmmie quotes:

"I BEEEEEELEEEEEEVE!!!"

"Bev Harris is only $10 away from making John Kerry President."

"Let's visualize our own reality."

Maybe they T.P. their cells to torture them.

No, wait, that's what we're doing at Club Gitmo, isn't it. . . .

the MUST SEE movie of the year! Especially if you really want to understand what the U.S. government has in store for all of us...

"Has in store"--so, like, Bush is waiting until he's out of office to enact his REAL agenda, complete military takeover? Oh, right, that's all going to happen in his final two years in office.

I think the real reason these morons like this movie is because they like to say that "Remember, remember the fifth of November" ditty, it makes them feel all cool, like they know the secret password.

By all means, you idiots, wear the mask of a terrorist. We already know that's your true face, anyway.

The answers to many of our questions can be found in the movie "V"

I think that even MORE questions can be answered by another WhackJobby movie, The Matrix. KKKarl Rove controls their computerized universe.

Goofy liberal movies. Sure there are some silly conservative movies, but something like Red Dawn are far more realistic than this drivel..

I believe it deserves at least as much praise and perusal DU gave Michael Moore's political film F9-11.

I'll go along with THAT part.

impressed a whole bunch of chix by a swimming pool by merely reading poetry aloud from a Robert Service book

I hate it when my Robert needs serviced.

Would the people truly be inspired enough to take to the streets? Or would they stay home and drink beer, like our current situation.

THAT'S A DUMMIE
Tune: "That's Amore"

When the Moonbats go wild
With the sh*t that they've piled,
That's a DUmmie.
When they've plain lost their heads
Like they've gone off their meds,
That's a DUmmie.

Hopes will fly,
Soaring to the sky, rising way up high
Like a giant sequoia.
Hands will wring--
What a ding-a-ling, what a ding-a-ling--
And you'll think, "Paranoia."

When the "F" words flow free
Just like on MTV,
That's a DUmmie.
When they march in the street
Without leaving their seat,
You're in luck:

Those aren't Rovian plants,
They're just Ants in their rants,
And they're FUnnie!
For a laugh and a half
Reading each paragraph--
That's a DUmmie!

just exacly where all of this fear, fascism and religious fundamentalism is leading us! . . . what the U.S. government has in store for all of us. . . . .

HELLO FROM A FELLOW DUMMIE
Tune: "Hello Muddah, Hello Faddah"

Hello from a fellow DUmmie,
Here I am at their Camp Rummy.
Camp is where they are detaining
All us DUmmies who they say will need retraining.

Exile off in Madagascar
Would beat camp here watching NASCAR.
I can't take the country music,
And the food from Cracker Barrel makes me too sick.

Into chapel, there they squeeze us
And they make us come to Jesus.
I get baptized so darn often
That the creases in my clothing start to soften.

Now I don't want to annoy ya,
But this isn't paranoia.
Guards are coming soon to make me
Watch the 700 Club until they break me.

Get me out, oh help a DUmmie!
Get me out, I hate Camp Rummy!
Don't leave me here in this form of hell--
I've got more Amway left to sell.

Get me out, I promise I will
Not take baths, or mess the house with
Jack Chick tracts; I don't think I can last
Another FOX newscast.

Back on DU, wish I could join.
How's my precious little goodboy?
Get me out of this detention
And I'd even read a Pitt thread with attention.

Wait a minute, what's this beeping?
An alarm clock--I was sleeping!
What a nightmare, for just nappin',
But I bet you Rove and Bush will make it happen!
