WETUMPKA -- In a surprise move Thursday afternoon, Melissa Wright, the Coosada woman charged with attempted murder for placing her infant daughter in a hot oven, pleaded guilty in Elmore County Circuit Court.

Circuit Judge Sibley Reynolds sentenced Wright, 27, 100 Harm's Way, Lot 10, to 25 years in prison.

That sounds two uppity for us southreners. We'd just marinate it in Dales and grill the heck out of it.

I don't know. Brains are kind of fluffy and delicate, sort of like chicken livers. If they got stuck to the grill, there might not be too much left to eat. That's why I would go with sauteeing them in a skillet. With lots of butter at least ;-D

The skull would protect the brains from sticking to the grill, yet allow the smoke to flavor them! May I suggest not using Hickory chips for this? Applewood would be excellent, along with some aromatic herbs strew over the wood.

I skipped lunch today. I only have either breakfast or lunch never both, then dinner. Tons of coffee. Don't ping Protractorazz, I ain't got time for the little self ignite flamer.
