Quincy Woman Sues President Donald Trump for 'Loss of Enjoyment of Life'

QUINCY, MA — It’s no secret that President Donald Trump isn’t the most popular guy around Massachusetts and concern from residents over his policies and political actions is understandable a state known for voting blue, but one Quincy woman is taking her worry to the court.

Rossi Wade, formerly of Plymouth and now of the City of Presidents, filed a lawsuit in U.S. District Court in Boston against the United States Government and Trump, accusing the commander in chief of discrimination, mental anguish, and mental cruelty against her. The lawsuit additionally states that she suffered a loss of enjoyment of life and emotional damages.

“November 8, 2016, Donald J. Trump was elected as President of the United States. From June 16, 2015, until March 20, 2017, I have experienced loss of enjoyment of life, I have been tormented by the thought of him, as well as, sight and the sound of his voice frightens me, I am unable to sleep, focus or believe in a secure future for myself and daughter,” Rossi wrote, according to federal court documents.

Rossi said Trump has been giving her nightmares since June 2015, causing her to go under the care of a physician. Since the appointment of Betsy DeVos as the secretary of education, Rossi claims she has been only able to get two hours of sleep a night, down from four hours.

“I am a mother rearing my child, trying to maintain a level of respect and teach my child to respect authority. It is straining after hearing Donald J. Trump disrespect authority all the while I am trying to explain he is not above the law,” Rossi wrote.

Rossi is demanding $1 billion in compensation for the alleged damages against her.

As of April 26, Rossi’s lawsuit risks being dismissed following a denied motion for leave to proceed in forma pauperis due to an incomplete motion. The plaintiff has 21 days to either pay a $400 filing fee or submit a complete motion. Failure to do so will likely result in dismissal.

Rossi’s lawsuit is one of 134 which has been filed in federal court since inauguration. The number is substantially higher than the 26 against Barack Obama, seven against George W. Bush, and 15 against Bill Clinton at the same point in their presidencies,

Madam, your pursuit of happiness sucks. That is not anyone’s fault, but your own

She needs to sue the folks who voted for Trump...and have her attorneys cross examine each and every one of them to see what’s different between them and her....

Why not? It probably worked against her ex-husband in divorce court.

“Well, then, Obama owes me at least $50-$100 million dollars.”

Exactly. It’s astonishing, but liberals must assume that we had no problem watching Obama destroy our country for eight years. Talk about “loss of enjoyment of life”!

I get the impression that this woman is not doing exactly what she claims here. She probably supports the Antifa (anti-first amendment) fascists. The "respect for authority" she is teaching her child is, most likely, obedience to the authoritarian dictator she longs for. Since Trump stands for freedom, there really is no tyrant to respect or bow down to; hence, she is unable to teach her child to "respect authority."

She should, instead, be suing the media. They’re the ones pushing all of the rabid anti-Trump nonsense. She’d be happy as a clam with a real media.

I truly don’t know how America is going to survive with such people as citizens. She’s not alone and she has a voice that the media listens to.

I despair.

She lost her sanity long before she lost her enjoyment for life.

“She should have her daughter sent to stable home.”

And where’s the father in all this by the way?

And the father of the welfare child should not be allowed to vote.

There used to be a law in Maine that if you ‘lived off the town’ you could not vote. We need a similar nation-wide law.

Also, we need a nation-wide law that says if you have been a public-welfare child you cannot be a public-welfare parent.

Anyone getting only 2 hrs of sleep a night would become psychotic. On the other hand, this might explain her actions.

“”Woman needs to be slapped with frvolous lawsuit, and her lawyer disbarred.””

Loser pays all expenses/costs - attorney, court, court reporter etc. She needs someone to follow her around like an investigator in a WC claim - how handicapped is she from living a normal life?

If she sues anyone it should be the fake news media for their constant barrage of slander and over the top lies that have turned Trump into the Bogeyman in the minds of snowflakes everywhere.

Or she’s simply exaggerating....Follow her and make a record of what her daily life is like - does she function like a NORMAL human being? Seeing as how she’s in MA, an investigator would have to go to another state to see how normal human beings perform...
