Josh T. Thomas Studied Political Communication at the University of Northern Iowa and received his Paralegal Degree from a competitive American Bar Association (ABA) approved program. As a student, Josh served as the Public Relations Coordinator for the student body and actively participated in lobbying State & Federal legislatures for post-secondary education spending. As an elected member of the student body in 2008, Josh was an integral part of Kirkwood Community Colleges lobbying effort that successfully secured State & Federal funds during a time where colleges and universities across the nation were getting their budgets reduced due to a declining economy. Josh was one of the youngest employees to be hired by RuffaloCody to help lead their annual giving campaigns for non-profit organizations. At RuffaloCody, Josh successfully negotiated and secured a $100,000 pledge from a cold call. Josh also served as a Compliance Quality Assurance Specialist under the direction of Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel to CBE Companies (formally CBE Group). Josh moved from Iowa to Illinois in 2013 and began working as a Litigation Paralegal for a law firm in downtown Chicago Loop.
He’s really into other people’s money. He’s definitely in the right party.
Isn't that exactly what Rush as been saying about Trump for the last few weeks?
...rallying the base when other's aren't.
The more I hear Jeb, the more he sounds like Obama on Climate Change & now "social justice".
First, in the spirit of full disclosure I was apprehensive to discuss the news surrounding Donald Trump because I find little value in adding to the growing number of articles ripping him apart.
======================================================= First sentence totally discredited himself as an objective writer.
"Donald Trumps front-runner status epitomizes how fed up some Republicans are, to the point where even incompetent baboons like Michele Bachmann or Donald Trump seem like a better option. "
Got it. Thanks.
Can you say, “Zero credibility”?
Look like we found another sniveling pajama boy, 2ndDivVet.
If he’s squeezed, does he pee in his pants?
Try calling him or his friends baboons and see how they react.
For some odd reason, these polls seem to be extremely party centric, and do not give those who ‘don’t plan to vote Republican’ much of a status; the only ones who do seem to be the positive / negative polls, which make it hard to break out party background.
I think Trump has widespread appeal, at least around here, because of what he’s been saying, and what our ‘GOPe’ candidates are not. Is he the horse to bet on? That’s the BEST part of all of this. We don’t have to bet on him, he’s a freebie, we can use that money to pay for FreeRepublic and support Cruz, while the rest of the pack struggles to get their name out there, and rarely do they succeed except to poo-poo Trump.
That, to me, is a great position to be in this far out before the first primaries. Even better, there’s still a back bench with other acceptable choices, so if Trump explodes, there’s at least a couple people to step into his place, and none of them are Jeb, Rubio or (I betcha it is coming...) Romney.
Any bets his parent(s) could have given a sh!t less about his education and kicked him to the “cur wid a free ejucashun” to a “pulic skoo”..
I’m going out on a limb here as the first American (I’m sure Freepers will correct me if there is another one) to predict Donald Trump will win - not only the Republican nomination but the White House.
OK, Trump is obnoxious: so what? That is only a drawback if you’re a leftist. Healthy, clear-thinking, red-blooded Americans do not care if their leader is outspoken, if he can get the job done.
We are not effete psuedo-intellectual Old Europe, as Democrats long to be. We don’t want to be molly-coddled and lied to by people with perfect hair. Real Americans don’t care about hair. On the left they do, but I mean normal people.
Our country is very different from how I remember it in the 1970’s, but there are similarities. There is a “silent majority” out there who’s strongest political sentiment is “We’re mad as hell and we’re not going to take it any more!”
Like Reagan, Trump makes a direct appeal to the downtrodden middle class people who are paying for the underclass and being ripped off by the upper class.
Trump is no Reagan, true. But the appeal of both is the same, the “outsider” or non-political operative charging in with something we have not heard in a very long time: the truth. People might just rally to it... if they recognize it.
Many have. But you are very new.
Anything that long and blathery has got to be wishful thinking
“Trumps racist comments...” “Trumps racist beliefs.”
Hmmmm... could he be calling Trump racist?
Yep, but not so new I don’t realize I must be open to corrections and possibly more stringent replies (as well as some nice ones) on FR!
"I don't have any coherent thoughts, so I'll blather for a bit. I hate Trump because he would make fun of my 'Black2basic' moniker. Trump is a clown and he should give his money to me. I'm Black and know what I'm talking about. How did I take so long to figure out how smart I am?"
Rap version of the article...
Trump a chump
his bank account plump
don’t be letting him be on
The President stump
Brothers like me all agree
he be taking our benefits and
putting the hump into our rump...
I like your version better - thanks ;-)
