Hi there. I am new on FR as a registered participant. However, I have been “lurking” and listening for many years. With another potentially disastrous presidential election rapidly approaching, I thought I should get more involved. I’m also Catholic and concerned that my Church seems to possibly be going in the same wayward direction as my country.

I have been very impressed with Freepers posting articles and comments on both of these topics. I don’t have too much to say because there are such intelligent and well-informed people here. If I dare to toss in my comments occasionally, please be patient with me while I learn how to best interact in this fast-paced and challenging arena.

On a personal note, I am female, getting old, and live on the Oregon coast.
