Not a regular Freeper anymore...but I still visit occasionally... I have three degrees: A BA in Political Science, a BA in Theater (I know...I used to love acting) and a Masters degree in Accounting. I almost got a minor in religion as well but that was too much work. Random facts:

Despite my age, I still read comics. They are truly our modern mythology. Favorite characters are Batman, Superman and the Green Lantern Corps. I'll read anything by Geoff Johns. Alan Moore is also a genius. I've read some Frank Miller stuff that blew me away (Dark Knight Returns).

My favorite "book" of all time is pretty much the entire cycle of Middle Earth stories by JRR Tolkien...The Silmarillion, The Book of Unfinished Tales, The Children of Hurin, The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings...almost everything except for the Book of Lost Tales. That was awful.


I also enjoy the few works by Bret Easton Ellis that I've read (American Psycho and The Rules of Attraction).


Harry Potter is amazing but I think Rowling is not very adept with her style of writing...she just happens to create amazing stories.
