I think politics is a scam. 40 years of involvement in partisan politics and we have nothing much to show for it other than hate, coarseness, rudeness, sloth, envy, gluttony, misery, thievery, fornication, infanticide, corruption, perdition, and a much more difficult Christian mission. Culture drives politics, and that's where we should focus our efforts. I quit posting in early 2018; much needed time in the metaphorical desert. I’m back for now. We’ll see for how long.
