I voted for Bush for Governor of Texas, supported him in the primaries, and in the general election as well. I firmly believe that he's a good man, and that he's an excellent President. No matter what he does, I will vote for him again.

I'm in favor of lower and simplified taxes, and I favor the elimination of the death tax. Capital gains taxes need to be reduced substantially or eliminated. I don't drink, smoke, or do dope - and I've spent quite a lot of time around police officers, though I'm not one myself. At the same time, the war on drugs seems to be a lost cause. We need to find a better alternative.

Gun rights need to be expanded, not curtailed. If someone wishes to own a black plastic rifle with a 30 round magazine, and hasn't committed a felony, they should be permitted to obtain it. Frankly, if someone wants to own a machine gun or a suppressor, there should be a lawful mechanism whereby they can do so.

Illegal immigration is destructive of our nation and our culture. It needs to be stopped, and those illegal immigrants presently inside our borders need to be deported. We need to secure our borders.

The U.S. has encouraged free traitors to devastate our economy. Our present arrangements permit foreign nations to take American jobs and put highly trained, hard working, dedicated Americans out of work. The answer is not to mouth foolish platitudes about retraining and the merits of being a shopkeeper, but rather to end the ridiculous practice of ruining our economy to benefit foreign nations. China, India, and others subsidize their own industries and workers while restricting U.S. access to their own markets. It is time - long past time - to end this.

Presently, the U.S. has an export profile that looks like a third world nation. The center of global manufacturing capability is now in Asia, not the U.S. Japan and China are presently the America's largest creditors - this gives them enormous power. We must correct the imbalance, protect our technological and manufacturing infrastructure and capability, and thus assure our national security.

Computers are good, faster computers are better, and networked fast computers are best of all. 

I'm fond of Latin, but I don't know much of it; here's the latest one I've come across: Neca eos omnes. Deus suos agnoset. It means "Kill them all. God will know His own."
