Fact 1: The Clinton administration played a key role in creating the Taliban by giving a “green light” to Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and other Gulf states to organize, fund and direct them.
Fact 2: During eight years, Clinton decimated America’s military. Our forces were cut almost in half under his stewardship.
Fact 3: Research and development on all new weapons systems were brought almost to a halt as other nations continued to build.
Fact 4: Bill Clinton destroyed nearly our entire arsenal of tactical nuclear weapons.
Fact 5: The Clinton administration took the same position taken by the Carter administration in disregarding human intelligence.
Fact 6: The Clinton administration tied the hands of the CIA by prohibiting them from recruiting criminals, terrorist, or other people on the inside. So in effect the people who had inside information were off limits to the CIA. The CIA never recovered from that policy.
Fact 7: There is a perceived notion among our enemies that America is weaker after the 8-year tenure of Clinton.
Fact 8: The Clinton administration did not place Afghanistan on the list of nations (rogue states) that sponsor terrorism.
Fact 9: The Clinton administration never placed sanctions on Afghanistan for harboring Bin Laden, but did manage to bomb a few sheep and empty tents with cruise missiles.
Fact 10: CNN reported this the Clinton administration: “In general, sources tell CNN, the State Department believes that state-sponsored terrorism, as a whole, is less of a concern.”
Fact 11: The Clinton administration allowed Iraq to rebuild its military forces: it now has 5,000 tanks and the same number of troops before the invasion of Kuwait.
Fact 12: In 1998 Clinton withdrew U.S. demands that Saddam allow U.N. inspectors to monitor weapons programs. After the withdraw, Clinton allowed billions to flow into Iraq by allowing them to export oil.
Fact 13: The Gore Commission on airline security headed by none other than Al Gore failed to implement increased airline security measures after receiving a series of campaign donations totaling $627,000 and $313,500 following that.
Fact 14: Clinton gutted the budget for actual intelligence gathering services.
Fact 15: In the final days of his presidency, Bill Clinton opted not to eliminate Usama Bin Laden.
Hell yes!!!
However, we still see Clinton making his rounds and "feeling our pain."
Barf! I can't believe this guy isn't locked up. What is wrong with our leaders that Clinton has been able to get away with so much? I'll never understand.

Further, in any given year, there are over 100 terrorist attacks across the globe. The first time the terrorists tried to bomb the WTC was 1993, during Clinton's Administration.
According to your convoluted logic, Clinton pissed off the entire world and caused that attack, huh? The only difference was that time, they failed; this time, they succeeded. I didn't blame Clinton for that attack; I certainly don't blame Bush for this one now.
And, yes, all of the facts listed in the original post above are accurate; seems to me good old Sink Squirter DID NOTHING to prevent the terrorists from getting their second chance. He couldn't have helped the first time, but he might have done something to stop them aside from blowing up an aspirin factory. In truth, he made it EASIER for them to get their second chance.
Don't let a little thing like facts confuse you.

Clinton/UN did place sanctions on Afghanistan twice. They succeeded in giving the Taliban a new excuse to forment hatred for the US with the Afghani people and opened a black market for goods (especially opium) on the former "silk road." Clinton/UN (he gave them a lot of authority, now they're whining) mostly appeased. Bad strategy with terrorists.
