LOL! I thought that was a rumor.

We get snow every few years...It stopped shortly after it started. During the day yesterday we got a total of about 2 inches...schools are closed. The first year we moved here 87, there was a THREAT of snow and they closed the schools. That year our snow removal equipment consisted of 2 guys on the back of a city dump truck throwing sand/cinders on the road. They now have about 4 small plows blades to stick on the trucks. No BIG snow plows like they have in Northern States of MI or WI.

Did anyone catch the story on tonight's NBC news about reporters going to "boot camp"? When they interviewed a general, they tagged him Brig Gen so-and-so (didn't catch his name) when obviously there were two stars on his collar. This bugs my active-duty hubby big time; you'd think they could at least get rank straight.
