"got lots of good war stories and tell-all on the libs"
I am on tenterhooks. Story!! Story!! Story!! Tell-all type first. Love it.
Humor is the best medicine. Mix well with sharp edged ridicule, insert in the deserving's tenderest spot. And with enough love to really heap their heads with hot coals. Ah, bliss.

That lower photo of assembly of the ball turret struck my fancy. Notice that this is not an assembly line. Notice that those are not untrained, unskilled, replacement workers. Craftsmen. Sure be fun to walk that plant while in operation, look at each part closely, talk with the guys. Boy, was that ball small.
Know an old Marine, three Silver Stars at the Frozen Chosin. Deserved the Cross, would have got the Medal if he had been an officer. About the same height as Mr. Ellet.
Forty below and a twenty mile an hour wind on the hill tops. Blood would freeze the bandages solid.

The feeders look great. So does your yard. We may have to discuss placement though. I've submitted a question to the famous Dr. Horn about it, he's our research scientist. I think you could use a couple feeder poles. Easier to get to for filling the feeders.
I'll get back to you on that. ;-)

Aggressive but careful. Not afraid to get his hands dirty. The antithesis of the bureaucrats and the Monday-morning quarterbacks with which we are awash.

Yep, this one beats Hollyweird anyday. I tried to picture myself hanging out in the clear blue, thousands of feet straight down, 20 below temperature, fighters swarming like bees everyone trying to kill you, coming back with 750 holes in your plane, incredible grit these men had! It left me choked up after reading this.
