Hi SAM. I hope our ISP gets there problems worked out, too. It drives me up the walls when these things happen. I'm gonna be bald before too much longer. LOL!
It's acting a little squirrelly now and my fingers are crossed it'll behave a while longer.
If it weren't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all. *giggle*

All this electronic stuff is great as long as it's working properly. Y'know? I recall several years ago (back in the Stone Age. hehe!) hearing that all these neat gadgets would make life easier for mankind. Boy! Did they ever fool us, huh?! LOL!!!!!

POO! Now hubby wants the 'puter. He couldn't do his 'puter stuff earlier either and now he's pacing the floor, doing the heavy sigh thing. *giggle*....I should make him suffer but I'll be nice.
I'm glad I got to see y'all for a little bit this evening at least. I'll see ya again tomorrow.

Evening Phil Dragoo.
As many times as I see pictures of Iwo, I never get over the price the Marines paid for an island you can almost spit across in the middle of nowhere.

"We Were Soldiers" is really good. Two thumbs up, way up!
Mrs. Moore was quite something, too. When she found out families were being notified of soldiers' deaths by telegram, she took it on herself personally to deliver the telegrams and grieve with the families, not knowing if one of the telegrams she picked up might have her name on it.

Thanks tanker. I just don't get out to movies and don't have hbo, who's got time to rent and watch a video. LOL.
Anyway, it is on my "list" and I hope to see it soon.
That's so sweet what Mrs. Moore did.
