When you go ad hominem, you really pour it on.

“L.Ron has no solutions to the current situation either. Just a lot of “I told you so” BS (as if!) and the same goldbuggery cant he’s been spitting for years.”

I’ll take “goldbuggery” over Fed fiat money buggery any day.

RP is simply speaking the truth about our monetary system. Anyone with an understanding of basic free market monetary policy (and one who is not on thorazine) can see that our fiat money system is a disaster.

“Uh, no. LOL”

I should have known to expect such a moronic response from a member of the juveniloid anti-RP brigade.

Goldbuggery makes me laugh. So do phrenology, astrology and alchemy.

For what it's worth, Ron Paul -- this libertarian great -- has some rather odd theories about the Fed, inflation, and gold-backed money in his recent book Revolution (in chapter 6). At 20 pages, it's too brief to convince -- but fascinating and worth reading!

What you call goldbuggery makes sense to me. I would rather have that than the buggery we get from the Federal Reserve System. We should abolish the Federal Reserve System and return to the gold standard.
