You continue to focus on what someone ELSE'S salvation and eternal life might be.

Perhaps soon you'll begin to focus on your own? Because right now, you are in a very, very bad situation, and you need to correct it.

We aren't just "Christians," we are the ONLY Church of Christ, period.

Your posts, with all due respect, really don't make a lot of sense. Now, which commandments do I reject, exactly? Which parts of the Torah and the NT does my arrogance cause me to reject? Yes, both Hashem and Jesus assert that if we love Him, we will keep His commandments, id est, To love the Lord God with all of our hearts and others as we do ourselves.

They started out to be, but men like yourself, who would rather mold things in their own likeness and image, began to fool with them, and many plain and precious truths were taken from the scriptures.

Thanks be to God, He did not leave His children without hope, however. The Truth has been restored, through the instrument of Joseph Smith, the prophet who was blessed to open this last dispensation of the fulness of times!

You have access to ALL this truth, if you but reach out and receive it! All the Latter-Day Scriptures are here for you, if you want them!

How wonderful for you to have this priceless gift!

Yes, fine. Bookmark it. And remember it. And ponder it. And keep it in your heart.

And one day, you just might realize the truth of it, and leave your dead works and your false creeds and half-truth-strewn theologies, and Come Unto Christ!

The Lord has given me all things in His Son, what else have I need of? Certainly not belief in anyone else.

Now, which commandments do I reject, exactly?

Here's one: "HEAR this word that the LORD hath spoken against you, O children of Israel, against the whole family which I brought up from the land of Egypt,... Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets." [Amos 3:1,7]

You reject the Prophets; you reject the Lord's command that you heed the Prophets.

You reject and excoriate Joseph Smith, the Prophet of this Dispensation. You reject him and so you reject the Lord as well.

That's just the beginning.

A fat lot of good it does you to acknowledge His Son, when you do not what His Son asks of you.

Fat lot of good.

Thank you for the illustration. Yes, the way you just twisted my own words is EXACTLY what I am talking about!

Accept that Jesus is the Christ, that Joseph Smith is the prophet of this dispensation. Accept the Book of Mormon, accept baptism by TRUE authority (rather than the vain "authority" that is empty and meaningless, as the priestcrafts of this world have fashioned), and accept the Gift of the Holy Ghost.

Then and only then will you be on the road to eternal life.

Anything less is damnation.

I just said, I accept the prophets who speak of Him, as led by the Holy Spirit, Who points always, to The Lord. Joseph Smith, as you repeatedly insist, makes himself equal to the Lord, barring the gates of heaven to whoever will not believe in him or his church. He claimed to even be able to deny those believers in Christ, salvation, if they rejected him and his revelation. He was of the anti- Christ, and you want me to accept him? I would rather die.

BTW- NOT even the LDS has a gaurantee even me, ONLY those who are WORTHY? All- It is so comforting to know that Joseph Smith has holds your recommend.

How can you have any comfort if you have no gaurantee? You said this.

What does that mean should be your question?

It means should I become slothful, and not keep my convanents.

Wrigley you are really seem dense!

But than you are the one who believes that all you have to do is say "I believe in Jesus"! and you are IN like fynn!

My little child: I have acknowledged Him and caused the angels to marvel in Heaven. You do not know of what you speak, perhaps you should stop now.

What does that mean should be your question?

Oh, I ask that from time to time.

It means should I become slothful, and not keep my convanents.

You cannot do this. It is impossible. You cannot work to ensure your salvation. Christ assures me of that. He is my gaurantee.

Wrigley you are really seem dense!

Maybe. But since that sentence is worded weirdly...

But than you are the one who believes that all you have to do is say "I believe in Jesus"! and you are IN like fynn!

I believe you are mistaking the what and why of our works. We do not keep his commandments to save ourselves. We try to keep them to honor and glorify him. Good works are a sign of our salvation. Not the means.

I caution and warn you, and now our discussion is at its end: you are blasheming now, the Holy Spirit, Who is The One Who baptizes, and is the One Who baptized me. This is the unpardonable sin. For your soul's sake, leave now and seek forgiveness.

My eyes were opened long ago. I know very little in the eternal scheme of things, but next to you I am a genius. I don't even mean that personally; it is simply the difference between someone who has partaken, and tasted of the fruit, and one who continues to refuse it.

These words sound more than vaguely familiar...could it beeeeeeeee....................

SATAN!
1)Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which teh LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
2) And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
3) But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
4) And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
5) For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
6) And when the woman saw tht th tree wa good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired tomake one wise, she took of the fruit therof and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her: and he did eat.
7)And the eyes of them both were opened, and the know that they were naked: and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
Genesis 3:1-6 KJV, emphasis by Calvinist_Dark_Lord

Listen my good fellow, you need to repent of your error. You need to stop eating a fruit that slowly but certainly poisons you! You need to plead your case and request forgiveness before the true High Priest of the order of Melchizedek, who has never been replaced, because he is alive forevermore. You need to stop sewing the "fig leaves" of works together into a garment that fails to cover the nakedness of your sins.

It is the difference between one who consented to follow the counsel of the living prophet, and look up and live, and one who insists on denying the truth altogether.

That Prophet is alive forevermore, and presently sits at the right hand of God the Father almighty. It is He who still by virtue of the Holy Spirit as revealed in His eternal Word, speaks to all mankind. His name is Jesus of Nazarath.

I hope and trust that you repent before it is too late. And I hope that your pride will not prevent it, and ensure your damnation. So many fall because of pride. I hope it is not your fate.

Likewise, you admit your pride, and the resulting sin of following a false prophet, repent, and find the Jesus who made our salvation certain, who gauranteed that the gates of Hell would not prevail against His Church that has never ceased to exist throughout all history.

i have seen your posts on other threads that have nothing to do with religion. You are not a stupid man, you need only look to the true God.

***You have just admited you have no guarantee.***

Just before my mother died she cried out to one of her "preachers" that she was afraid she would not get into heaven because "I'm afraid I haven't done enough!" They assured her that she HAD done enough.
I was there and wanted to scream "YOU can't do enough! Christ has already done it all for you!"
