Not knowing when or how a scripture is going to occur has no affect on any Amill.
Oppoents of literal sacrfices, such as Oswald Allis, Keil, Lange, etc have no real exegesis to offer for the Ezekiel passage and other references to millennial sacrifices. Other than to suggest that they are not to be interpreted literally, their principle argument against the literal sacrifices is the seeming incongruity of such sacrifices as properly representing the work of Christ not fully historically and exegetically in the New Testament(Walvoord, The Millennial Kingdom, p.314)
They are like the Pharisses who saw the miracles of the Lord and could not explain them but refused to believe in Him because of the Scriptures
They answered and said unto him, Art thou also of Galilee? Search, and look for out of Galilee ariseth no prophet (Jn.8:52)
The same could be said for a Calvinist who pretends to be Sola Scriptura
Amen, brother!
Would you say that the "Wicked" one spoken of above is Satan?
No Old Testament saint was ever or will ever be in Christ Jesus, that is Church age.
That is the mystery revealed to Paul (Eph.3), that the Church was unique, the very body of Christ (Eph.1:23) since she was His bride (Eph.5:25).
Just as Adam had his bride, the Second Adam has His.
No Old Testament ever had the relationship with God that we do, even though some were 'friends' of God
We are actually in the midst of the greatest love relationship of all time, that of the Trinity itself.(Jn.17)
No one was ever saved by animal sacrifices, those sacrifices were types of the one sacrifice of the Cross. They covered the individual until the real and permanent Atonement could be made. The Hebrew word for Atonement is Kaphar and that is what the blood of bulls and calves did, it covered the sins temporarily but could not do it permanently(Heb.9)
As for differences, in the marriage ceremony of heaven,(Rev.19:7) there will be the bride and the friends of the Bride (Jn.3:29)
Now, this is all basic stuff that is learned at a Baptist Sunday school.
Find yourself a good Bible study and get away from the frauds and liars.
It is not for individual reconcilation but for national forgiveness.
The offerings here (vs 18-27) are National and Priestly (the Priest representing the nation); not individual for there will be no day of atonement. The sacrifices will not therefore be as when under the law (Bullinger note #18)
The same holds true for Ezek.45:17 which is for the house of Israel , not individuals
It is accepted scholarship..you may read what you like..but I learned it was an addition to the text 25 years ago
You want a Jewish Ghetto with a different plan of salvation.A RETURN to sacrifices that NEVER washed away sin...Dec...your theology pleases satan
How many resurrections are there are in John 5:25-29? And how many resurrections are in vv.28-29?
See #494 and jude24's #502.
At this rate, jude24 is going to get completely extricated from premillennialism while you are still stuck there. (And I'll bet Jerry_M comes all the way out before either one of you. Of course, BibChr and editor-surveyor are probably going to take longer than anyone else.)
My point is that you are operating under a supernatural deception. And that means you cannot realize that this is going on. So far, the Spirit of God hasn't cared to fix your problem.
Why do you suppose that is?
