That would be the same Al Franken who belongs to a 12-step program, right?

Please remember that Rush's fate is held in OUR hands not the hands of liberals. We, the listeners, will determine if Rush lives or dies on AM. The liberal media knows this, the liberal trolls on FR know this and they are attempting to "sway" your opinion of Rush since they themselves are powerless to remove him.
Remember this when you are reading a thread like this or listening to some "report" about Rush. YOU the "listener" are the target of the leftists PR. Whether or not you choose to be their willing dupe is up to you.

The lsft wing could be resposible for Rush's addiction. If any person had to think and talk about the Clintons so much especially HILLARY...the only way out might be DRUGS!

I see from searching that he is in a 12 step program, which is also for family members. So was he the person with a problem or a family member?

That, L37, is a VERY good question - and one to which I haven't been able to find the answer.

A man should walk his talk. If he doesn't, he ain't much of a man. This is what I was taught by my Father and my Grandfathers. Sorry, but I'm not a New Age Conservative.
I do feel sorry for Rush. I have enjoyed his radio programs from time to time. I hope he comes clean with the police investigators and not try to hide anything. He probably won't get any jail time if he does is my considered opinion.

His HOUSEKEEPER, his EMPLOYEE was being tasked to make huge illegal drug purchases for him. Do you think she did that out of the kindness of her heart? The skank was a junkie with previous convictions.
Yes, Rush was wrong, and thinking a junkie could keep their mouth shut when they could cash in big time was also naive.
As far as addicts go, Ruch was an amatuer and the housekeeper a pro.
Why do you think the records were kept? She sells a large portion to others, hangs it all on Rush, skates jail and cash's in. A junkie's jackpot.
That was motive, plain and simple.

Detox is a short stay to clean the system of the drug--
Rehab is a long stay of at least 30 days to address the psychological side of the addiction.
Rush was never off air for 30 days; hence he has not been through rehab before.

"Limbaugh was talking about recreational drug use, i.e. heroin, weed, coke, etc. He never said that people
who wind up addicted to pain killers due to a treatment regimen should be punished."
Yeah, that makes sense. The only evil people are those who use non-prescription drugs. The good people just use illegally obtained legal drugs. </sarcasm>
Don't you see a problem with your reasong here?

Yes, the same Al Franken, member of a 12 step program.

You replied: Kind of hard with an ongoing criminal investigation.
Happiness is being the Clintons, and owning your own "justice" system. ;-)
A level playing field in this instance would dictate that Rush Limbaugh should be in charge of the bosses of those investigating him, and that many of the judges ruling on points of law in the case should have been appointed by Rush.
We won't even mention crowds of fawning media...
