Thought the same thing as soon as I saw it. I wonder how many people do not know they must vote to recall and then choose a candidate.
We were amazed that there were so many people at our pollng place at 7:15 this morning. Interestingly, they moved the voting room from the school's multi-use room (used for 30 years) to a smaller classroom, which was overflowing with people.
Am wondering if we're being set up for people to claim they've been disenfranchised because they could not find the room?

I have talked to three friends early this morn who have switched to McClintock instead of Arnold. This is going to be interesting how the votes play out.

Good logic and vote. We must defeat Davis, Bustamante, Mulholland, the RATS, and the L.A. Slimes.

If you're down by San Diego, it could have been...Wow, thanks!...you sure got hold of that map fast! Chula Vista's right next door to San Ysidro, where the 3.9 earthquake registered.

Voted at 7:30 in the Mission Hills area of San Diego. Middle of the road, evenly split district. Turnout light but steady. Voted yes, Arnold, yes, yes.

"However, I am so determined to counter the LA Times hit pieces in this election, that I voted for Arnold. We need a mandate to repudiate this dirty tricks crowd. "

Congratulations! You did the right thing. It's not over yet -- with the record 10 Million turnout (
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/996773/posts), where:
"Democrats are expected to cast about 43 percent of the votes and Republicans 38 percent, with the remaining 19 percent to be cast by independents or voters from other parties, according to the Field Poll. "
we need all the votes we can get to make sure that Davis is recalled and Arnold gets elected.
There are some predictions floating around that Bustamante wins -- if he does, we know who will be responsible: the McClintock voters.
You, at least, will have a clear conscience, and let's hope enough people voted as you do to make sure Arnold will get the plurality of the votes and it would be nice to be ahead by enough, to forestall any court challenges.

My ballot was a large *8.5 x 16) piece of thin cardboard where we marked little ovals with a pen.

Orange County is the heart of the California Republican party. Think Chris Cox, B-1 Bob Dornan, Dana Rohrbacher, Wild Bill Dannemeyer, etc. Heavy heavy heavy Republican presence. Villa Park is an affluent section of OC.

Just wait. The numbers will tell the tale and this unfortunate result could blow a hole in the entire exercise.
